Silvia Salon and Spa

April has been my hairstylist for many years. She is a perfectionist and always does an amazing job with my short hair. Her work is so impressive that people on the street have asked me for her contact information.

This review is the exact opposite of what I wrote about Great Clips. I've been seeing April for three years. I know for a fact that no matter what style I choose for my hair, great skill goes into every snip. When I first arrive, we go through the pictures of the hairstyles I like, and then she asks questions to clarify what I like about them. We modify the style for what would look best with my hair type and how much time I will realistically spend on hair at home. I imagine even if a style was not a person hoped, it would still look remarkable just from sheer talent, time and skill. In the 3 years, I have yet to be disappointed.

Michelle was my stylist. She did an amazing job on my hair.
She had her work cut out for her! I had my gray roots that were 2 months old (at least!) and very brassy color left over from a previous bad hair color (another stylist/another State). She was very kind and listened to what I wanted in both color & cut. She delivered on everything! Left there feeling great thanks to her! Would highly recommend Michelle for cut/color/highlight services.

I have been coming to Silvia Salon since moving to Mt Pleasant. Shauna has a very professional touch and styles my hair beautifully every time. She is awesome!!! Call her soon!!

Emma always does a great job with my eyelash tints and my hair. She did my prom make up and helped me so much getting ready for prom. One of the other staff who's also very sweet managed to help with my boyfriends hair for my prom as well. I recommend this place to everyone.

Emma is absolutely amazing and I love going to her. It turned out perfectly and she is always so patient and willing to take a little off at a time to make sure you are completely happy with the results and she takes extra care to make sure everything is straight

I’ve moved around a lot recently so it’s been a challenge finding someone who I’m comfortable trusting my blonde with. Shauna has done my hair 3 times now & I’m blown away each time with the blonde & the cut! I would 100% recommend her for all of your blonde needs!

I was in SC for vacation and honestly I absolutely loved my hairstylist shauna she is amazing funny and even tho i hated my short hair she made me love my hair again and helped me get my confidence back. I had my hair cut and colored by Amy. She did a fabulous job! I have never colored my hair before and wanted it to be close to my natural color, and it looks amazing! The cut was also absolutely perfect with such cute layers. Highly recommend! Will definitely be coming back!

I took a shot in the dark and booked an appointment with Megan four years ago and never felt the need to look elsewhere. She is an absolute treasure with a kind and tender heart. She is a whiz with scissors and always had a way of interpreting my gibberish to achieve the look I wanted. (She did a fantastic job with my daughter's hair too!) The salon itself is clean and inviting. The staff are warm and friendly. I wouldn't hesitate at all to recommend Silvia Salon...and Megan!

My first visit at this salon and was highly recommended by a friend. April was my colorist she is professional, knowledgeable and took on the challenge of fixing my hair and I am beyond happy with my results. She is creative and knows what she is doing. I will drive the 4 hours it takes for me to go to this salon thats how worth it it is.

Michelle did an excellent job! She showed amazing attention to detail... I have had this cut for a couple of years, and this is by far one of the best versions of it I have ever gotten. I am so impressed by her work.

Last year, someone ruined my hair and I ended up having to go spend $100 to get it fixed by a master stylist... Michelle's cut was just as good as his. She is clearly very talented, and I highly recommend her and this Salon.

Amy Thomas is a fantastic senior hair stylist at Sylvia’s Salon, and I have been with her for over 6 years. The hair treatments are spot on and stylish while in keeping with my age. My son visits the salon occasionally as well, and she treats him like he is her top client. Never much if any waiting for the appointment and allows time between clients. Very personable and a good friend to me. If you need a change or looking for a new salon, please try out Amy. You won’t regret the cut, style, color, or treatment.

You cannot go wrong at Silvia's! Great location and knowledgeable staff. Megan does a great job with my cut/color. It is refreshing to sit in her chair confident and relaxed knowing that everything is going to turn out just fine. When our schedules don't match up, Michelle takes great care of me, too. I got a facial with Emma and it was amazing. She was very professional, and knowledgeable about the products. The facial was very relaxing, best nap ever. I will definitely be back to see her!!

I love coming here because April always provides an amazing service! Whether it’s a cut or a highlight, I’m consistently happy with the results. The salon is clean and adheres to the COVID guidelines beautifully. I highly recommend getting your hair done here and try to get April if you can!

Cristina always slays my hair!! I love chatting with all the stylists at the salon; they're all so sweet and easy to talk to! I never have an issue finding parking. Highly recommend any of the stylists here :)
