You will be pleased doing business with this outfit. They offer a very fair price for a quality product. I ordered 7x2 tall fence stays and when I arrived they were neatly bundled in 50 stays to a bundle. They carefully loaded them on to my trailer and we had a nice conversation after that. They had a very nice and large selection People should realize that a lot of work goes into harvesting cedar posts, stays, mantles and the like. It is refreshing to to deal with someone in this business that has a very fine reputation. I got their number from a fellow that I met fueling my pickup in Mason, Texas recently. He had a large load of posts on board his goose neck trailer and, he too, was very complimentary of the Haynes Cedar Company. They returned all of my phone calls, emails and text messages promptly. I arrived almost an hour early to load and they were ready for me.

When I needed my first 440 cedar posts, I began calling around and it seemed like I might not get enough posts. I thought I might have to go to metal posts, or at least do mostly metal posts. But Haynes Cedar Company in Johnson City came through. In fact, Haynes was the only one who came through. I drove there and picked up the posts in person. The business was easy to find, easy to get into, and Debra, the yard manager, will get you situated and loaded up quickly. I ordered three different sizes and I was not disappointed in the quality when I saw the posts. I was pretty impressed. The posts are banded nicely, are so straight, and are cut very consistent to the sizes I requested. All my friends and family have commented on how nice these cedar posts are. I will definitely be going back to Haynes when I am ready to do the rest of my fences. Thank you Haynes Cedar Company!

I have used Mr Haynes Cedar Company for more than ten years now for all my cedar post projects. Mr Haynes uses central and west Texas old growth cedar which is great quality material that will last for decades. I can order my material and they will have it waiting for me. Debra is running the yard and is professional and courteous to me. If she does not have the material at the time, she calls once she has the material in the yard for me. I enjoy doing business with these people and feel like they are family in our personal business relationship.

We purchased 40 10’ cedar posts for our vineyard from Mr. Haynes. He was such a joy to work with and very knowledgeable about his product. Excellent customer service, High quality wood, and quick skillful loading. If you ever need cedar, he’s your guy!
