The Exotic Resort Zoo

This place is incredible. The location, the animals, the staff, and owners everything is amazing. A few tips if you are planning to visit: get there early and give yourself plenty of time, buy lots of food buckets because it is a true joy to feed and interact with animals, and take lots of pictures and videos. The little kissing camels are so cute and the petting and feeding areas when you are waiting are just very special. Definitely recommend this place to any animal lovers and families with kids! Such a wonderful experience!

This is hands-down one of the best experiences I have ever had in my entire life!! I cannot say enough about how wonderful it was. The animals were so happy to see us and be fed and interact with us. The goats in particular in the petting zoo wanted pets over food. The animals seemed happy and well cared for. And the staff was very friendly. We chose to drive our own car so we could take it at our own pace. Will definitely be back and maybe stay in one of their cabins next time!!

We stayed overnight in the zoo but you can also do a day trip! Make sure to buy treats when you come for the best experience! Plenty of parking and the cabins are nice if you stay the night. You can ride in your own car or behind their tractor!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! Olivia got us tickets at the front desk then walked us out to the tractor/trailer for the tour. She was so friendly. We only had 6 people on our tour. It was nice to be able to move around the trailer. All of the animals were so well behaved and sweet. Didn’t hurt that we had food for them! Each pasture has really interesting animals. You must kiss the camel! Put the range cube in your lips and the camel comes right in and grabs it with his fuzzy lips. It was so fun! My birthday goal was to pet a bison and I DID!!! Fed them bunches touched its fuzziness. I’m so thrilled. All the animals are amazing and I ABSOLUTELY love that the zoo let the javelina, who wandered onto the property, join the family. He’s so cute (from the safety of the trailer) and he meets every new tour right at the cattle guard for snackies. The baby Highland cow in the petting zoo is so sweet. And they have the nicest pygmy goats I’ve ever met. Many petting zoo have aggressive goats but these little goats were so sweet and did a few nibbles on me and my clothing but were very calm.

One thing I wish you had was hooks in the ladies bathroom stalls so I could hang my bag up but otherwise it’s one of the best places I’ve been as an animal lover!

I need to apologize to Olivia because I squealed through almost all of her animals talks. I was so excited to pet everything. Olivia, I heard your info and loved hearing it, but I could not control my excitement! Sorry!!

Beautiful zoo and property is well maintained. Enjoyed our driver/guide. We do not have small children, but the four adults really enjoyed it. If you go soon, look closely at the lemur cage. There’s a new baby hanging on to her mama!!! Would love to go back and stay in the on site cabins.

I would highly recommend this place. Tons of fun for people of all ages. They get you right up close to so many of the animals and the staff was very friendly. I’ll come back to this place one day for sure!

We so enjoyed this place. We are seniors and other guests were families but we all had a terrific experience. We took the tractor tour with lovely Olivia as our guide. She educated us about the animals we saw. We had purchased buckets of food at the office and were able to hand feed so many different animals who would come running up to the tractor wagon. I fed camels, numerous deer and other animals, and my favorite, a sweet bison. I have tremendous respect for this place. The animals are cared for and loved. They even have cabins where to can stay. I really recommend a visit. It will make you happy!

We visited this exotic zoo and had an amazing experience, Kaylee gave us a fantastic guided tour and we learned so much! You can really tell the animals are well taken care of. I'm excited to visit again in the future!

We had such a blast here! We got two big buckets of food and it was more than enough for three people to generously feed the animals on the trail and in the petting area. The animals came up to us and were adorable and the guide was insightful and patient. Can’t wait to go back!

We had the most amazing time here, our tour guide was Amanda she was soooo amazing and wonderful to have. She made us laugh even taught me how to kiss a camel, which is something i never thought id do. This is a place for all ages and the animals were so sweet and being able to just be that close is really awesome. AMANDA next time i come with family when they visit i will request you as our tour guide. This place is a 1000/10

What a lovely place to hang out at with family to be around the beautiful animals of all kinds! We always love to chill with the goats and feed the deer. Definitely a place I would recommend to any animal lover!! We will be back!! Thank you

Spectacular safari! We toured the savanna’s in our Jeep and had the best time. We loved all the animals approaching us which provided a real up close and personal experience like none other. The grounds and facilities are beautiful the animal
paddock are immaculate. Besides the safari we also fed the giraffes and visited the petting zoo. We will be back and stay in the cabins. As full-time RV’s we were wondering if they would ever consider becoming a Harvest Hosts, what a cool place!

We absolutely loved our visit!! We stayed at one of their cabins for the weekend. We did a guided tour and drove our vehicle through to feed the animals while we were there. Both were enjoyable! The animals come right up and eat right out of your hand! Not sure if the kids or adults had more fun! 🤔 my 3 year old talks about his visit daily and we can't wait to go back!! I highly recommend staying at the cabins. In the evenings a camel came up to the fence, and we were able to hand feed them. Such a cool experience.

Amazing! Olivia was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They have a massive variety and amount of animals. My daughter couldn't get enough of feeding the larger animals from her hands. It's definitely worth the drive, and I would recommend it to all.

Such a special place. All the staff was friendly and helpful. Tour guide took time to answer every child's question thoughtfully. We very much enjoyed the entire experience.

My family had a great experience. My 2 yr toddler was so excited to see and pet the animals. Definitely going back this year. We drove from Livingston, Tx.

This is great entertainment for our grandkids. They live feeding the animals
And especially kissing the camels. The driver does a good job of talking about the animals and making it possible for the kids to feed them. We have been there numerous times and it never gets old.

We came here yesterday & had the most fun experience! The animals were SO FRIENDLY & popped their heads right inside the truck to get tasty treats! There were baby goats that I GOT TO HOLD, there was a petting area too. The smile didn't leave my face, I am literally coming back again TOMORROW with my children!

Adding to the rave reviews with nothing but positive things to say. Admission is reasonable for the experience offered, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, the animals seem very well cared for and there is an excellent balance between making sure the animals are happy and comfortable and guests get engaging and satisfying interactions with them. There are rules that make sense without unnecessary restrictions so you really get to be hands on with the animals as much as safely allowed. We went with my mom and my two kids (6 and 4) and every had an amazing time.
