Best chicken fried chicken I have had for a while, and the jumble onion rings were awesome! The food is so beyond our expectations for the price, and our server was very lovely. Also, our dogs approved the grass outside for poop. Will definitely stop by again.

Olivia was the young lady who took my order and prepared my food. She was literally a gem of a human. polite, professional, had a great attitude and was just a pleasure to be around. Just stopped driving through and what a surprise! If you haven’t tasted their pulled pork nachos, you are missing a slice of heaven. Great atmosphere and service was stellar.

Just passing by and stopped here. Brisket sandwich was delicious enormous onion rings which were sooo good too! The cowboy nachos are also yummy! We did take out and they also provide with all condiments, bbq pickles, red onion and pickleled jalapeños. A bit pricey, but it was good. I got what I paid for.

More food than we could eat. We brought 1/2 of it home. Pot roast was great. Chicken fried chicken was very good. Fries were tasty and a big portion. The server was very attentive .

I absolutely loved this place. I loved their food. The onion rings were fantastic. My burger was perfect. So much food!!! The restaurant was cute also!!! Bowie Texas is a great town to visit!!!

This place meets expectations in terms of service and atmosphere. However, food is VERY good. We went here for lunch on the way to New Mexico, and the american diner style dishes are VERY good. Def exceeded my expectations.

Restaurant has great food and prices are very reasonable. Very friendly staff and place was well kept up. You will not regret stopping here. Cheese stuffed jalapeños bacon wrapped. Served with BBQ sauce. Highly recommended. Not pictured is homemade potato chips. Also not pictured was BBQ sandwich that was fantastic. I will be back.

Generous portions of excellent food. We will come back again. The blackberry cobbler was the finest I've ever had. The half rack of ribs was falling off the bone tender, my porkchops were juicy, and the brisket nachos were excellent.

Visiting in Bowie and saw this on Google maps and decided to try it. There were 4 of us and they had a good selection on menu with competitive pricing. Food was hot, especially enjoyed the sweet potato fries. Staff was great. If in town, I will go back.

Oh my this is my favorite restaurant for the most delicious ribeye steak, it is marinated for 21 days and has the best taste and so tender. I have to also say the loaded mashed potatoes minus the bacon was absolutely delicious along with the fried okra. Laythen our server was so sweet and on top of everything, super service and the best tasting food around. We will be coming here every time we come through this way!💃oh and they have a great store and a nice boutique

Armadillo grill has all homemade food. My waitress Tammy is a 12 year veteran of serving people great food. And it gets better!! the kitchen guru Elsie is 80 plus years old and loves her job. With the help of her trusty sidekick Melina . They have made me happy AND! they make everything from scratch. Its a must stop for great food

This is cute fun place to eat! Decor cute and fun shop next door while you wait for your food! Nice big salad. Chicken and fried steak pretty good. Friendly staff.

This place has not disappointed both times I’ve been here. And I’ll be back. Again. And again.
Went with the Brisket salad and a sweet on the side. The server accommodated my requests for “different than how they do”. And smiled doing it. Heck, she volunteered to do so.
Brisket was superb. Salad part had plenty of variety to keep the taste buds all over the place.

Seems like a place that is a local favorite. The food is just exactly what you expect only more generous portions. I have not had rolls this good in probably over 30 years.

Closest thing to homemade. Their beef tastes as fresh as it gets. Ask for the Bacon Cheeseburger! I could barely even finish it. $16 for burger and fries, no drink. A bit pricey but well worth it.

We enjoyed an excellent breakfast here over the weekend. Easy on/off US 287 with gas. The restaurant is part of the main building, but separated.

The staff is friendly, the service was great and the food was brought out hot and freshly made. The building was clean and the place felt safe.
