Stonewall Sporting Clays

First class all the way,this establishment needs 10 stars! I brought my family here while on vacation and decided to go with the course followed by the steak dinner. The course is laid out great, we were supplied quality rental guns and plenty of rounds for the entire family. I can’t say enough about the amazing staff, everyone was incredibly polite and informative. The steak dinner was an added bonus, we were treated to a well seasoned and perfectly cooked dinner , while the dinner wasn’t the initial selling point when booking it will be a factor when we return! We look forward to returning and add the side by side when booking, it’s just another bonus.Thanks again to the staff for making this one of our vacation highlights!

Stonewall is a great place and Kevin was a great person! My wife had never shot anything....I hadn't done sporting clays in close to a decade. He helped us both be safe, comfortable and confident... So much so we were back the next day doing the course on our own and now we're back in our area considering places to join as we fell in with the activity!

Had a blast here with my family. The course is set up very well and the side by sides really take it to another level. I also enjoyed the varying degrees of difficulty at each station. Would love to come back.

Our first time clay shooting and it was during a birthday weekend getaway for my significant other. The owners were extremely responsive to emails asking questions. Owner, Jen was a great instructor and helped us so much as this was our first time shooting clays. Safety is their first priority. She was very patient, knowledgeable, and a great cheerleader. She shared her own experiences and about the area with us. Very friendly and welcoming. We would definitely recommend and visit again.

Came out for a buddies bachelor party today and we absolutely loved it. All of the staff were amazing and we couldn't have asked for a better course. Will definitely be back!!

Had a great time here as absolute beginners. The owner ran the training for my wife and me, and we learned a lot and had a lot of fun. Beautiful property. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming.

had a really great time. 16 stations out in the woods with an ATV. kevin is great. he has a great automated system set up and makes it easy for anyone. you dont need to bring anything. this was the first time shooting clays for my wife and she had a really really good time. i highly recommend giving this a try. it was a great way to spend the afternoon. thanks kevin

Awesome sporting clay range, challenging, but also very fun to shoot. The Teets Family are amazing people and run a top notch facility. I promise you, you will not be disappointed. I have shot this range a couple of times and each time I can’t wait until I can go back. If I didn’t live in another state I would be there all the time.

Our first visit to WV and Stonewall Sporting Clays. Owner Jen was a great instructor and helped me so much since this was my first time shooting clays. Safety is their first priority. Everyone we met during our visit was knowledgeable and friendly. We spent three mornings at the range and loved every shot! if you are in the area it is worth the visit.

My husband and I tried sporting clays for the first time today and had a blast. We never shot a real gun before. Both Kevin and our instructor Ian are so nice and accommodating. Ian took his time with us, he is patient and super helpful, even helping me to hold the gun so that I can shoot better (the gun is heavy). They also tried to entertain our five year old son, he had fun picking up shells. Kevin generously let us driving the ATV touring the course, also our first time.
The lodge is well appointed and clean. There are sunscreens, bug sprays etc. I also saw Kevin carefully washing the ATVs. All in all, great place, people, and experience, we are so happy we tried it!

PULL! What excitement and new experience! This place and management is Awesome! From the time we arrived, during our registration, the tutorial of equipment and stations, check ups on our trail, Kevin was outstanding. I wanted an activity to fill our day, we got an Experience of a Lifetime!. If you are visiting the Roanoke, WV area, you have to make it as one of your stops. I original plan was to try something that we had never done before and now it's something we can't wait to do again! Thank you Kevin for a Great experience! GREAT FOR DATES!

Really nice course and helpful staff. Guns were really nice and new. The entire course takes about 1-1:30 hours but you drive a side by side to each station and there is a total of 16 stations. Each station was challenging but not overly difficult. Each course is different from the other and keeps it interesting. If you have never shot guns before especially shot guns i would highly recommend using a 20-gauge and even if you have shot guns before the 12-gauge is going to start getting painful on your shoulder. Would recommend using padded clothing like a t shirt and sweatshirt.

Wow, what an amazing experience! To start, the facility is in pristine condition. We were welcomed by the man himself, Kevin! He is absolutely awesome! He went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time! They truly care about your experience and do everything to make sure it is a great one. This is a good place for any skill level! Kevin is a very good teacher and makes sure you’re comfortable with the course before letting you go out on your own. The UTVs were in great shape and the course was phenomenal! Such a great time to spend with family and friends!

If I could give 10 out of 5 stars I would! Stonewall Sporting Clays is absolutely amazing! Took my hubby here for his birthday and we did the course together (I shot with a 20 gauge and He with a 12gauge) It is an incredible course, fun and challenging all in one. Jeff (shooting coach) and Kevin (owner)are phenomenal! Definitely glean all the tips and instruction from Jeff he is crazy knowledgeable and such a great coach!! Whether you are a skilled shooter or just starting out this place is for you!The course is beautiful as well and the Polaris was so fun to drive! Definitely add this place to a MUST DO and bucket list destination!

We had a great time. We came as a highly experienced shooter and someone who never held a gun. Kevin set the tone for a fun time, relaxed and low pressure. He taught all safety instructions, gave advice on what to change to hit the clays. Kevin made it awesome for my first time and as promised had me hitting "birds" and also made it a good time for the experienced shooter. Highly recommended.

We were a visiting family of 5 and had a BLAST!! Brandy greeted us at the Lodge and made us feel right at home. After a short trainings video we headed out to the 5 stand and were quickly taught how to aim and shoot. I would highly recommend and we even got a discount for staying at the resort!

Stonewall Sporting Clays is first class all the way! Was blown away with the hospitality by the owner. Extremely fun course and was a great way to spend time with the family over the holidays! Highly recommend to anyone of any skill set to give this place a go. Will always remember this trip and can’t wait to get the opportunity to go back! My wife and I were so very fortunate to have our first ever clay shoot with Kevin yesterday. He has a very calm demeanor and is very patient with his teaching.
