Place is just lovely! The staff are so friendly and the food is delicious. Fried green tomatoes and the shrimp and grits are awesome.

The food was excellent. The shrimp and grits were great. The ribeye with sides of mashed potatoes and vegetable medley were awesome. Ribeye was cooked to perfection. The atmosphere at The Docks was awesome, too. Laid back southern cuisine and a beautiful view of the lake.

Celebrating a birthday on Guntersville lake is a must! We enjoyed the drinks, large meal portions and chocolate cake.

Great ... the BEST .. service and perfectly prepared food. It will be listed as the best Rib Eye I've had, knocking Doe's Restaurant (Paducah, KY) to a close second. Split it with my wife. After being cooked to perfection, the chef split it and served as two full services .... unheard of in most restaurants.

Saturday night had a southern rock duo on the deck at a pleasing volume and excellent voices and instrumentals.

The food and service was outstanding! We ordered the petite sirloin and the ribeye, and both were phenomenal. It was honestly one of the best sirloins I have ever had. Beautiful scenery as well. I would definitely recommend giving it a try!

First time there for a wedding rehearsal dinner... Casual restaurant that's on the water with really great food and drinks. You can eat inside or out on the deck. Order an appetizer, the fried pickles and the fried mushrooms are the best. I recommend the shrimp and grits, my husband recommends the fried oysters. It was a great dining experience and we definitely will be back.

What can I say but this place is great. I love the view. The signature dish that I had was amazing, as well as the rest of the food, and the service was impeccable. A must try

One of the highlights of this town is this hidden restaurant. Good people, good food. Atmosphere ranks a 20 out of 10. Despite the isolated appearance, It's less than 10 minutes from town, one of the restaurants on Goose Pond golf course. Went on a Wednesday evening, sat on the patio and chatted with a few locals as the sun set. Ordered the snow crab and gumbo and have no complaints. If you hate bugs, sit inside. Great experience!

Wonderful riverside location (including duck where, it appears, boaters could tie up & walk up to the restaurant. Only domestic beers + Stella Artois in bottles, but a good selection of those. Slow service, but who's in a hurry by the river? Worth seeking.

The food is so good here! If you're in the area you should definitely try it:-) Derek at the bar is a awesome bartender! We had the raw oysters their gumbo the shrimp and grits and the bread pudding all amazing! So yummy, we will be back for sure!

My favorite resteraunt experience and some of the best food I've ever had

The food was great, and the staff greeted us with lots of southern hospitality.

The food was amazing and very high quality for a reasonable price. And definitely appreciate the freshness of all of it! The owner spoke with us and has an amazing story and we loved chatting with him. Will definitely be back!

We made a reservation and got seated as soon as we walked in. We reserved for outdoor seating and it was a good decision! The view was beautiful and they had a live band playing. Our waitress was very sweet and the whole restaurant seemed to be family owned/run, & tight knit. Which I LOVE!
As for the food.
First off I want to say they were very accommodating. Someone in my party is allergic to gluten so the subbed the flour tortilla in the fish tacos for corn chips. The fish for fish tacos was amazing and so was the sauce for it.
The fried grouper appetizer was delicious, meaty and buttery with a light coating of batter, not too greasy. As it should be.
Our table had the signature dish, shrimp and grits. I didn’t personally order it but tried it and I was pleasantly surprised as I dknt typically like grits.
I personally got the shrimp , fries and gumbo. Everything single things was SO good.

I will be back next time I’m in town.

I came here on a recommendation from some co-workers and was not disappointed. The food was great, the service was exceptional, and the view of the lake was extraordinary!! Great weather helped out a ton. The Docks will definitely be on my come back list when I’m in town.

Their salads are good. The bread they bring out at the beginning is really nice and the honey butter is GREAT!
