I have never once had a problem with the Grant post office. The mail carriers have always been friendly and have always been professional in their mailbox and package deliveries. And the people at the post office are always willing to help. Good attitudes always make a difference.

Picking up bills out of our mailbox is very important on our list! Hope they can get better at this after all the “Covid”issues!

I have never seen a more incompetent post office in my life they lost a package I was shipping out for over a month before they finally found it then they constantly lose my packages or lie about them being delivered only to deliver them late a few days later 1 star is too much for this place

Worst PO EVER! Continuously having to play find my package. And they never answer the phone! TodY my package “was given to an individual” but that wasn’t me or anyone in my home. So who knows where that package is at!!! If they had to pay for it they would do their job better!

I arrived at 7:50 so I could be there right when they opened at 8. I waited for 20 mins before they bothered to unlock the post office doors, even though they were up front & seen me waiting at the doors. When they finally did open up, late, they didn’t even apologize or give any excuse why they didn’t open on time. The man who opened the door just said, “She’ll be with you in a minute.” & then immediately turned around & walked away. So then I had to continue waiting for the woman to finish doing whatever she was doing & come to the counter so I could finally get my package shipped. I thought I could just stop by quickly before work but it ended up being a 35 minute ordeal & made me late to work as well. I’m really irritated at the indifference they show when it comes to other peoples time.

Worst post office my family and I have had dealings with. We have a metal can specifically for packages that are too big for the mail box so the family dog will not destroy packages left outside. If by slim chance they do actually deliver a package, they do not put it in the very clearly marked can. Half of the items my mother had ordered as Christmas gifts last year were destroyed due to them not following simple instructions, even after she had contacted the post office letting them know where to put packages, NUMEROUS times.

if i could rate the grant post office with 0 stars, i would. they are the most horrible, unprofessional, lazy and inconsiderate post office and delivery people i’ve ever experienced in over a decade. the grant post office closes at 4 pm (though they actually close frequently by about 3:30 pm) but many days of the week our mail doesn’t even run until after 4 pm. we never get our packages delivered even when our texts or emails alert us that they were delivered- though they were not - and when they do deliver packages, or other mail that clearly says ‘do not bend’, ‘fragile’, ‘important documents enclosed’, they are almost always crammed in the mailbox and they are damaged, torn, bent, etc.

I would give a 0, I've lived here for a few years and they've always messed up my stuff.
I just bought a razor headset (spent 60-70$ on it including express shipping) and they say I need to pick it up because they've tried delivering it TWICE. I've been home both times they've claimed to deliver it. I've seen the postal service pull into my neighbors driveway and always bring a package back, without handing it to them, so they could mistake them for my house, but there is no way they could, my mailbox had my address on it and our mailboxes are right in front of our houses and no where close to each other.

I've had a check to dissapear after it left my mailbox and most recently my water bill was lost 08-2021. I'm constantly getting another person's mail who lives 2 miles from me. I wonder if he has my water bill. I've gone to the post office about it and nothing has changed.

Just recieved a package today, worth over 100.00 deposited not at my door, but in the middle of my damn yard. Understandably, it was heavy, but if you're going to employ employees for the USPS, you should employ those who would treat packages as if it were their own, with just as much respect. It was literally 6 more feet to walk just to leave it next to the door. 2/11/19 11:25AM

Grant post office is the most horrible post office we have ever used. It is so bad, whenever I order something online, I use my business address for delivery. We get other peoples mail all the time, some who don't even live on our street, documents clearly stating "Do Not Bend" are bent and mail is crammed into our box.
The old delivery guy was half blind and even drove off from the gas station with the pump in his car THREE times!! When we complained to the post master, nothing happened. The old man didn't deliver our electric bill two months in a row and our electric was shut off. When the old man retired, his wife became our mail lady; she is just as bad.
The post master obviously either doesn't care or lets his/her employees run the show. I suggest a P.O. box in Guntersville or somewhere that knows how to handle mail.
