Victory Sportsman at Goose Pond Colony - BAIT - TACKLE - GRILL

So glad we came across this place! We were in town visiting family and we decided to try fishing for the first time. The owners went above and beyond by helping us get set up and getting us squared away with everything needed. We also grabbed lunch while we were here and I highly recommend the Victory burger! We will definitely be back next time we’re in town.

Had the Victory Burger and some chicken tenders (tossed in garlic Parmesan). Both were delicious! The bacon jam on the burger was PHENOMENAL! Highly recommend!

I had the Victory Burger, no bun. It was absolutely delicious! The hot pepper bacon jam was delicious. And that loaded tater keg on the top, WOW, YUMM!!

Great facility and staff has a Cafe with made to order food that is hot and good has a really great selection of baits custom made fishing rods reels live bait ice they have ice cream there too

Great atmosphere with a great view! The only thing that’s better is the food!! This is a Jackson County must see!

We love eating here! The smash burger is great! The chicken sandwich is great! The tater kegs are great! Banana pudding is great! Stop by and eat some lunch you won't be disappointed!

Great atmosphere and service. However, they also have the BEST BURGER ever. I mean, I was going to say “for North Alabama” or “for a tackle shop grill” or some other category but it was just the best burger ever.

Amazing atmosphere, family friendly, and great food. They have several games outside for the kiddos. The staff is incredibly friendly, helpful, and engaging. It’s a must to try their boneless wings! Best tackle store in town, plus best burger in town no doubt. A great way to enjoy breakfast or lunch by the lake:)

Stopped by for lunch. The smash burger was awesome. The drinks were cold, the food was delicious and the folks were friendly. They also have a great selection of rods, reels and tackle. If you are in the area and need tackle or a dang fine burger, swing by and check them out!

If there were more than 5 stars theyd get em. Victory Sportsman has an amazing atmosphere. They are family friendly and cater to every customer like they are family. The food is amazing. The Victory Smashburger is hard to beat but everything on their menu is amazing. The location is the best. Centrally located on Beautiful Lake Guntersville in Scottsboro. They have any tackle you may need for an outing on Guntersville and theres bound to be some knowledge about how the lakes fishing in there to help whether you be new to the lake or a local who doesnt get much time on the water. Mrs. Brittany keeps it squeeky clean in there so you never have to worry about germs or crumbs on the table or anything. If you are in the area this is a stop you MUST make. You wont regret it
