Molly's Takeout

We ordered the tenderloin clam strip baskets. The service from start to finish was excellent. Staff was very pleasant. We ordered at the takeout window and our food was delivered to our vehicle. The order was correct, food was excellent, the portion was large, I had a meal the next day with leftovers. All my experiences here have been great !

Great food! Fried clams were excellent and scallop rolls delicious!! Brought out lunch out to the car and came back out while we ate and asked if everything was okay. Just like inside a restaurant!! Good variety of seafood, burgers, shakers, sundaes, and more! Great experience!

I finally found fresh fish and homemade GOOD food in this part of Maine. All the other takeout places I've found here are the same frozen fair food. For the same price and less, Molly's has really good, fresh food. I haven't had everything on the menu but the fish and chips with handcut fries is spectacular. Love the batter on the fish! The cole slaw is definitely fresh and homemade.
Don't think everything is fresh and homemade, which is sad, but not the end of the world. My husband is a professional chef and, according to him, the burger was homemade. Not as good as the most expensive burger he's ever had, but still hands and feet above any of the other fast food takeouts around.
I don't know what certain other people's problem is with Molly's, but it's interesting to read their other reviews to really start to understand what they value and expect. Maybe if all they eat is pre-processed fast food, they might have a hard time appreciating good, homemade food, but it seems a little vindictive to only give 1 star. Just saying...

First time being there and it was amazing. The food was great, not too expensive. The service is great! They’re lovely people. I love to be able to support a local business and I would definitely recommend this place!

Delicious haddock and chips. My boyfriend loved the clams and scallops. Super friendly owners. Well worth the drive!

My husband and I was down that from the county and stopped in. The food was awesome!! Coming down that way again in a couple weeks and will b stopping again

Good food

Went to Mollys takeout for the first time tonight.... Let's say I will never go back. It was obvious my husband's burger was a frozen patty and his onion rings were all stuck together. My order was chicken burger basket. With mayo lettuce and tomatoes. I got a very small amt. of mayo and no lettuce .. no tomato.my fries were Luke warm and the Cole slaw was. nasty !!! I was nice enough to help her with change as she had no small bills. Never never again will I spend my money there !!! Didn't try to eat it. till I got home. Couldn't even eat it then. Lesson learned.
