Visiting the kids' barber is always an adventure, and we struck gold with Stephanie at Otero's. Our 7 y/o loves her sense of humor...she keeps him giggling from start to finish. Not only is she incredibly funny, but she is also kind with a top notch skill set. He leaves with great hairstyles every time. You can't go wrong with this Deerfield institution!

Ever since moving back to the area, I have had 3 excellent cuts at Otero's. I am glad that I found it - because my service is efficient, courteous, friendly, and the haircut has been just what I needed and wanted. Stephanie has taken great care of me. It is so nice to not worry about a thing and just show up and feel good. I highly recommend!

Maria is worth traveling hundreds of miles to get a haircut. While I live in Colorado now, I make it point to put her on my schedule when in town.

Otero's is solidly tackling COVID-19. The owner has been on site each time I've taken my kids there during the last few weeks. He makes sure everyone is safe and the shop is kept very clean. I felt completely comfortable bringing the kids in once I saw the lengths they go through to clean between cuts. Each of my kids went for their first non Kid Snips cuts and they loved it. Stephanie and Gaby took wonderful care of the kids making them feel comfortable with their caring, fun, and warm personalities. Both kids (as well as all the staff) wore masks throughout the cut and simply had to hold them in place when they worked around the ears. They also received fantastic haircuts. I'll be sure to continue supporting this long standing gem of a local business in the Deerfield community.

Stephanie was awesome! Listened to what I wanted done, was super friendly and made sure I was happy with it. I would highly recommend her! Also she has awesome music taste!

My usual barber wasn't available and want a cut before going to an event. I stopped by Otero's and the place felt very welcoming. Stephanie took me after a short wait and did a wonder job with the cut. I think I've found a new barber. Great place, give it a try.

The original owner has been cutting my hair for over 20 years. I got my first haircut since the shutdown and the first time by Stephanie. She did an amazing job and I will continue to go there.

I must say I was really impressed by this shop. I have been going to other commercial shops and they always seem to mess my cut. The gentleman was good with the scissors and used a straight edge to line me up in the back. He also knew his sports which made time fly. Great service and atmosphere, definitely going to keep coming back!!!

I'm 14 years old and I went to the barber shop and asked for a short fade hair cut but leave longer on top it is a new style we are wearing and I was worried that they couldn't do what I wanted I sat in the last chair with a very nice lady who said don't worry I know exactly what you want and she did a very nice job so I will definitely go back!!
