With all the 1-stars and negativity, I feel I should bring some positivity. All of my experiences here have been great. Patient and helpful.

Something to keep in mind, everyone. These folks fill prescriptions for hundreds of people each week, and can only work during business hours. Some prescriptions may not be filled immediately.

There is a lot that goes into pharmacy work, that we could never really understand. If your prescription is urgent, call ahead and ask about them. These folks will work with you. Please don't be rude. We are all only human.

Great store overall, friendly employees. Great produce section really fresh goods, great selection of meats and seafood. Store is always clean. The pharmacy is quick and efficient. Their precooked meals are really tasty and well priced.

The wait time is horrible, the Pharmacist is compassionate as are a few of the other staff. There are 1 or 2 staff that could get more training in working with the public.

Excruciatingly slow! Prescription was a day late and I was still made to wait when I showed up the following day!

Once again this pharmacy is right down there in the a hole of pharmacies. Got a text that my prescriptions were ready. I know better and wait 25 hours. Stand in line for 40 mins to find out that only two of 5 are ready. I question the whole extra 25 hours as a way to say “I don’t want you excuses”.
After hearing what they lack any sense of organization, I ask for at least the two medications that are ready.
Turns out they’re not ready either. They tell me to take a seat and I refused.
What type of organizational skills does it take to fill all the same person’s medicines at the same time. After wasting 1.5 hours waiting at the pharmacy today, I get home and fine out the one medicine I needed the most wasn’t there. So I call them and after their ridiculous phone system, I get someone on the phone. They told me my prescription wasn’t ready yet. I hung up. Today public complaints tomorrow corporate customer service. I do not recommend this pharmacy for a band aid.

Currently been waiting 45 min for prescriptions during daytime hours. Line is down the aisle. Often times I come and the prescriptions haven’t been filled yet and it’s been over 48 hours. Once waited 40 min for a vaccination that was scheduled ahead of time. The place is understaffed and management is in no hurry to fill positions. Transferred to another pharmacy today. After three years I’m done with this.

I really miss being in Winthrop... the lewiston Hannaford is making me hate this store more with every visit. Even mangers suck at dealing with customers.
I'm planning on taking my business elsewhere so as not to be talked down to and treated like a criminal while waiting for the bus after shopping at this good forsaken place.... i am a customer at their store. I personally do not use drugs and I'm 100% against theft of any kind. Yet for some reason, this stores (pathetic) management and many employees treat me like a criminal... I'm assuming because i take the bus to get and leave there....i can't think of any other reason for their mistreatment of a customer who goes there a few times each month.

No matter how far ahead you call your medicine will never be ready when you show up. Only ever get excuses when asked. Take your pharmacy business elsewhere.

Everyone goes to lunch at the same time and the whole operation shuts down. The ignorant sign even says if you're in line at 2 you can't be helped. Horrible customer service. Last time I ever send my prescriptions to this pharmacy. Every other company in the US calls it taking turns. One person go to lunch and you stay in business.

I havent had much issues with the store itself...the pharmacy, however, is a different story. Every time I pick up my medication, it's always some sort of issue, many times they'll only fill one of two of my medications (meaning I'm forced to bring my 2 year old in the store with me multiple times to pick up the 2nd half of my medication later on, which is DANGEROUS due to the covid 19 situation going on!) or they bill the insurance incorrectly and it'll cost me money (different amount each time) when it's supposed to be free due to the insurance I have, or they claim I don't have any prescription ready to be filled (until they say "well lemme check one more place" and they'll finally find it...like I'm not lying to you! Why would I insist there's a prescription when there isn't..?). Not to mentions the lines sometimes are rediculous and I'll be forced to stand in line in the middle of an area shoppers walk by, meaning I have to get uncomfortably close to people (again, dangerous with my 2 year old) and everyone is in everyone's way. They're a mess. I get a medication that others tend to judge upon..but I am prescribed this by a doctor and take it responsibly, and have been for many years. When I called the pharmacy to check on the status of my medication, I spoke to a woman who was VERY condescending. She asked what the medication I needed was, and as soon as I told her, her attitude changed, as I've unfortunately expirienced many times. Then she goes on to accuse me of trying to pick them up early, as if I were some junkie trying to get my meds to sell or abuse, which couldn't be further from the truth. And, in fact, I WAS 5 DAYS LATE in picking them up! These people can't even do MATH. I would've had better luck with one of the cashiers, as they can, I'm sure, calculate simple math. My last prescription was a 14 day supply, and I called for my r6efil 19 days after. 5 days late, definately not early. Not even on time! I was very confused and though I was wrong, and hung up feeling like a scumbag and was nervous to call again in fear of my medication being taken away or something, over something I didn't do and someone else's tendency to be quick to judge and their ignorant mistake!! She made me feel ashamed for picking up MY MEDICINE ! This is absolutely unacceptable..I wish I would've gotten her name because that's discrimination. I'm a loving, attentative mother, a good and caring person, and have worked very hard to get and stay sober for 4 years and don't deserve to get treated like trash!!! I am changing my pharmacy to a place where people don't get judged based on their medication. If she is against certain medications and likes to treat certain people as less than others, then she needs to find a different job. I didn't ask her to work there. She isn't my doctor, doesn't know me, or where I've been or what I've been through. Until she's walked in my shoes, she has NO right to judge. If she spent that time judging herself instead of others, maybe she'd be a better person for it.
