Keweenaw Waters Resort

Loved the location! Very beautiful view of the water! It was great to have a cabin with a patio and full kitchen. The only thing I would note is that there are pet friendly cabins, and if you select one of those, there was some residual pet hair from a previous person, I only probably noticed because I didn't have a pet with me. But I would totally consider staying here again, just a heads up, everything else was amazing!!

Wow! I can't even begin to two you how amazing this place is. First off, Josh the manager is committed to making sure you have a question experience here. He was a fundamental part of providing a quiet place for our son to heal following an unexpected accident.
The cabins are beyond clean. The cleaning crew here are clearly dedicated and take pride in the work they do. The furniture was in great shape, the mattresses were comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils, cookware, and dining needs.
The gameroom had a shuffleboard table and a Fooseball table. I just can't say enough about how wonderful this place was.
The Internet worked well and made it easy to meet with a couple clients virtually.
The view of the portage in the morning is breathtaking. This is our new go to place.
Josh, your care helped out family heal during a difficult time and you brought a silver lining to my Birthday as well. Our family Thanks you dearly! We can't wait to return.

The management was very considerate and friendly! The location was gorgeous and the rooms had a very comforting vibe. We were able to make all of our meals using the kitchen utensils provided, so less vacation cost eating out. We had a great time and would recommend!

We loved the convenient location with easy access to downtown Houghton and the grocery store just up the hill.

Our family enjoyed the view of the canal, playing foosball, and the dining room table surface large enough for great meals and board games.

Staying at this place was very relaxing and recharging.

Cabin was very nice. Clean and comfortable. Views were nice. Has everything you could ask for and some nice extras. Josh was very accommodating for a last minute reservation. I would highly recommend.

It is a great location, a beautiful setting on the Portage! It is close to MTU and downtown Houghton. Accommodations were great for hosting a large group and entertaining our college student(s) during our stay. I appreciated the quick responses from the manager when I had questions. Thanks so much KWR! We will be back!

My dog Otter and I loved our stay at Keweenah Waters Resort! Thanks for supplying us with a dog blanket, Otter loved it (I have a great picture of her in the blanket, but my iCloud photos aren't working right now). Looking forward to seeing what the resort becomes, since it is still being built. A pool and Jacuzzi would be a nice addition. The full kitchen was awesome! The view was amazing!

We will definitely come to you again, the snowmobile season is not over yet, so we hope that more snow will return.

We loved our stay. The place is immaculate and met all our needs. It’s large enough to spread out while enjoying family time. The views are breaktaking and it’s close to many activities. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful space! I was amazed at how spacious the rooms were. It had everything you would need for an extended stay. I will definitely stay again.

We came up for MTU fall break, as it’s our son’s bday weekend.
He was so excited to have home cooked meals!
The cabin came with EVERYTHING! Dishes cookware coffee bedding towels -it made our weekend so simple and enjoyable!
Bonus! I Did our laundry before we headed home!
Excellent customer service as well with special requests.

We had cabin with games-totally amazing!!!
Plus, the views from our deck! Trees are stunning.

Absolutely incredible place to stay. The views are breathtaking and the place was stocked. Kitchen had all the utensils you would ever need. The grill on the patio was a bonus.
So much attention to detail and love was put into this place. We loved it so much, we extended our trip so we could stay another night. Spoke with the owner and he’s such a friendly, outgoing person. Highly, highly recommend this place.

The cabin is really nice and has plenty of room for six people. We used the kitchen and other facilities without issue. The contact person was very helpful through the process.

Right now there are 5-10 cabins and they are in the process of building more resorts. The area has plenty of hiking and sight seeing which was our primary initiative.

Check in and check out were easy. Texted to have someone come take care of an issue and they did. Unit was clean and kitchen had all the basic needs and was well stocked. The views of the river was beautiful and it was nice to be able to sit outside. There was enough space for all 10 of us. The beach area is a work in progress. The resort is right next to the road so there is some road noise. It's not walkable to downtown area but everything is a short drive away. Overall was a comfortable place to stay!

The booking, checking in, and checking out process were all easy and went smoothly. The cabin was very clean and close to town. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and more. The large table was great for family dining and it was nice not to have to go out for all our meals. I would have liked some chairs on the deck to enjoy my morning coffee while taking in the beautiful view, but I'm guessing it was too early in the year to bring out outdoor furniture. I loved that each of the three bedrooms had a bathroom. You can hear cars going down the road, but there wasn't much traffic so it wasn't a problem for us. I would definitely stay there again as it is way more comfortable than staying in any hotel.

Loved being right on the river... fantastic view! Rooms were amazing... clean... beautiful up-north feeling...all with spectacular views. We will definitely plan on staying here again in the future 😃

Rented a sleeps 14 for a family of 9 for the weekend, everybody had a bed, everybody was comfortable. Absolutely beautiful setting!
Definitely will be repeat customers!
Had a great weekend visiting our Husky and exploring the UP.

We spent two days at the Keweenaw Waters Resort as part of a 12 day vacation to Michigan and Wisconsin. Our unit was very nice, exactly as the pictures on the website show. The rustic decor was was relaxing along with beautiful views of the waterway. The Keweenaw Peninsula has an incredible amount of natural beauty (and history) which can be accessed within an hour or so of the resort. Josh was highly responsive to my questions and very professional. I highly recommend staying there. Greg L.
