Egg Roll Cafe

Just get take out. It's not a place you want to sit and eat at. Be warned. The kid behind the counter didn't understand his maths, as he'd put it. He thought I was trying to rip him off when in fact I was trying to give him a tip. The old Chinese lady who runs the place smacked him in the back of the head with a folded up take out menu and told him you not doing cash register anymore! Either way the most important part is we once again have Chinese food with a diarrhea factor of zero. Even my cat approves. 👍🙌

I ordered the moo-shi pork. The order was fulfilled on time and the people were quite pleasant in spite of it being busy with orders. I'd hadn't had moo-shi in probably 30 years and it was just as I remembered it with the pancakes and the plum sauce. Portions where good (always order extra pancakes). I'm quite happy and will be back. It has the atmosphere of a take out place but it looked clean. You can see where they are preparing the food which is a bonus for me. The food was not greasy like some reviewers said, at least the moo-shi. Maybe they were having an off day.

They are always very pleasant and the food is always great..haven't had a bad meal from them so far...

Only eaten here twice & both times were delicious! Have only heard good things about this place. Got the D12 with a large Crab Rangoon🤤

Good cooking fresh and tasty especially the egg dropped soup, egg rolls, pork fried rice, shrimps in lobster sauce are mostly my favorites.

Fantastic east coast Chinese food. A little more expensive than others, but well worth it. Compared to the Dreggs you deal with going to a place like yummy, You will find this atmosphere warm and friendly. The woman running the show was fantastic. She was truly kind. Funny, and extremely patient. An elderly man came into the restaurant while I was there. Despite his attitude, abrasive nature, and lack of awareness she was very patient, and kind to the old man. She even calmed his wife down, whom was on the phone, trying to make him understand. She easily spent 20 minutes with this man, and his wife over the phone. After it was all settled she politely said "next time you come in, I'll help you make your oder ok?"

She is also very funny. She made my family laugh with her quite a few times. I will be back.

Good food. I eat here 1-3 times a month. Never had an issue with my order. Meat is good here.

Just moved to the area and this has been our goto for several months. Everything from Appetizers to Entrée everything has been delicious. Service is very pleasant 😊, usually order in advance and always correct and hot 🔥! Recommended. Not really a dine in restaurant but there are a few tables & chairs.

First time eating at the Eggroll Cafe and I was pleasantly surprised! This time, I just dappled in appetizers, egg roll, crab Rangoon, and chicken finger. Everything was delicious! The only downside was the price difference between menu on Facebook page and current prices which the nice lady explained was due to previous owner not providing them with the Facebook password so they could update the menu picture. Loved it and will be back to try more items!
I am updating my review after many trips to say not only is the woman (I assume is the owner) nice but the young men she has working for her are VERY nice and polite!! They always thank me for my tip! What a breath of fresh air they are! Good job!

This is one of the better places around for Chinese food! Just a small little building, nothin fancy. Biggest egg rolls I've ever seen and the breading for the sweet and sour chicken is so fluffy and they are also really big lol! The woman running the front is very sweet!

I cannot even begin to say enough about this place!! The spring rolls taste a lot like what my friend from the Philippines make for me and the scallion pancake is so good that my mom is finally happy that she found something that is as good as what our friends from Taiwan used to make before they retired from the restaurant business. The wanton soup has veggies my mom loves and not the ones she hates so that is a huge plus. My son could live off of their lo-mien as could I. My husband loves all of it. And the lady, whom I think is the owner, is a sweetheart! So kind and personable. We live in Hollis Center and shop in Sanford every weekend so we make it a point of getting lunch here.

I ordered large chicken and beef teriyaki, crab Rangoon, egg rolls, and bone in spare ribs. It is all delicious and I'm still eating it a couple days later. I recommend Egg Roll Cafe.

Don't be fooled by the 1 star reviews. I work w minutes down the road from here and my co-workers and I get food from here every 10 days or so. The service is great, staff is friendly , food is fantastic. Only complaint I here that is justified is that the chicken fingers don't have much chicken in them. That's it. Rice is great, crab Rangoons are AMAZING, and it's always made in a timely fashion. Can't speak for delivery as I've always picked up, but from my DOZENS of interactions with them, I can say they're my favorite Chinese restaurant in southern Maine.

Went on on Christmas eve. They have a system and rock it. Very organized. Very yummy. And my new favorite Chinese food place.

Best Chinese food in Maine! This was my first trip here and I will be back again soon.

So glad we decided to stop here. Food was delicious, reasonably priced, and generous portions.
