Perfect late lunch along Scenic Drive- we wanted to stop last time we were up here and finally did! The music was a little loud for 2:30 on a Sunday with maybe 10 other people around…
Boyfriend said his chicken tenders were pretty dry but he ate them and those fries were great. I got the biggest club ever, photo only shows half of it!

Really friendly and efficient staff, good beer selection and plenty of options for mixed drinks. Left Paul live was awesome. American type of bar food available.

This was the first time my husband and I have been there. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. We will definitely go back.

Great pub food! The Red Rooster is a local staple with a wonderful wait staff and solid pub offerings. Well worth the stop along the beautiful Lake Michigan shoreline in 'the middle of awesome '!!

Things have improved, and continue to improve all around with the recent ownership change.

Love the Monday night trivia game and other entertainment there.

I had a Wonderful time with my Fiance, Nephew Jesse 💙 and Friends on the 4th of July !
The Band played songs 🎵 that we could Actually Sing Along With !
I had a Budweiser, David had an Oberon, and Jesse had his Usual favorite; Bud Light Draft.

The Red Rooster has great West Michigan comfort food (think Lake Perch) and even some vegetarian options as well as local draft beers. Come on Wednesday nights to see live music by the Oat Bran Boys and bask in Third Coast Hygge.

Was there when they recently reopened (winter 2021?).
Excellent staff, decent food and a few craft beers.
I need to go back and see how things have shaken out.
It's the closest bar/restaurant to my house, but it really is "the middle of awesome"

Best tavern on the lake Michigan, foods great, live music and oh the liquor choices is top shelf stuff. I bartend and I'll tell ya it's great drinks. Staff is wonderful and gotta love the warm summer nights of getting a bite to eat and going to the beach right after. New ownership is a start to the next 100 years! I'm a neighbor right across the street and I love their hospitality ❤, 10/10 recommended to stop by and enjoy some burgers and wings 😋

Great bar/pub atmosphere! Food was awesome, burger was juicy and huge! I had a Jack Daniel's burger with sweet potato fries! Service was quick and my drink stayed full the entire time we were there! My first time, but will definitely be back to check a band out and try some more of the menu!

First time there,was very satisfied waitress was very friendly and helpful food was great and drinks were very good will definitely go back . Very nice establishment.

I took my crew here while we were doing a retaining wall down the road I was a little skeptical because I have eaten here in the past and it was awful but to my surprise EVERYTHING was fresh and delicious my son had a French dip it was amazing my grilled chicken sandwich was real chicken breast and great burgers were great and service was top notch.😊 And very reasonable 4 people ate and had a pop for under 45 bucks.. definitely will be coming here for lunch when working in the area..

Great friendly service, hooked the food up, delicious, fresh. Beautiful rustic, with great proportion of seating and bar. Awesome wall collection of old antique instruments!!

Enjoyed the roast beef sandwich with chips. Nearest restaurant to Muskegon State Park. Would definitely eat here again!

When we take scenic on our motorcycles, we stop here often. The jack Daniel burger is my favorite!!

I have been going to the Red Rooster Tavern forever. It has recently been remodeled by the new owners and they also introduced a whole new menu that is awesome! The pizza and burgers are the best. The new interior looks amazing and the service is awesome as well. They have live entertainment Wednesday-Saturday nights. Definitely a nice cozy place to go this winter!

Came in here with my in-laws to have lunch. Not busy on a Saturday lunch. The bartender is the server for day shift today and did a great job! They have a good selection of craft beer on tap. I had a side salad w/bleu cheese dressing-awesome! Fresh greens and shaved carrot, tomato. Entrees were perch sandwich: light flaky not over cooked with really good tartar sauce; BBQ pulled pork sandwich: good not as tasty as the perch. Both were on fresh Brioche buns. Fries were crispy! Burrito and chicken tenders were normal bar fare.
Dessert: cheesecake deep fried in puff pastry w/caramel sauce (you could get chocolate)
Overall this place is an oasis that will no disappoint.

We had a great time playing trivia and our nachos were large and very good. Service and prices good as well. Would return.
