Dower Lake Recreation Area Campground

This was a wonderful place to camp! Large spots for rustic and electric camping alike. There are plenty of things to do between swimming, the park, volleyball, disc golf, the pier, and just a nice area to walk around. Free firewood, which was awesome! Free shower rooms (not the newest) with plenty of hot water (after about a minute), definitely could use new hooks to hang things on, or perhaps a shelf....but we felt safe and got clean! My son and I very much enjoyed our stay here!

Beautiful Lake Plus A Really long fishing Pier ........

Dower lake Campground is a wonderful place to spend some time in the summer. They keep the whole park well maintained. There is a large pier that is a historical pier that was originally used by the railroad to pump water, now a new fishing pier is in its place. They have softball fields, a 9 hole frisbee golf course, a basketball court, beach volleyball court and a great swimming spot.

Very peaceful and quiet very long pier 612 ft with seating awesome place to go hang out relax.

We stayed for one saturday night, while traveling through. The whole park was well maintained. There is a fishing pier and a swimming beach there. Peaceful and quiet even when the park was full.

I stayed for a night and enjoyed a beautiful lake view. It's located in a cozy little town I'd say it's a good place to stop for a night if you are on the road!

Nice, clean beach, lots of camping spots available with hook-ups or rustic.
