Wahlfield Park

Beautiful place to walk. Be aware that there are Mountain Bikers as well. The direction they travel will change based on the day. Also, they ask that the trails not be used on muddy days in order to protect them from erosion.

Wahlfield Park has one of the best mountain bike trails in the area. It is well maintained and a blast to ride. There are a few options to choose from when riding the yellow direction (I have only gone on Saturdays, so I'm not sure about the other direction). The first fork is just out of the woods where you can either go to the right and bypass part of the trail or go left where you can hit the flow tracks then Oxbow loop. The flow track area has 3 tracks to choose from and it loops you back to the beginning so you can stay on the flow track or continue on. Oxbow loop follows a small river and has a fairly narrow trail with a steep drop off on one side, so it is a bit more technical and dangerous. The last option is a section similar in terrain to Oxbow called wild onions. When I did both of these combined with one loop on the flow track it was just under 6 miles. Highly recommend this trail.

Great park with nice well maintained trails. They also have mountain biking trails that are well maintained! No riding when its muddy though! The park also has a play center with your normal slides and monkey bars etc. A couple covered pavilions are in the area and a bath house with facilities is also there. Lots of fall colors when we were there! Get some fresh air and check it out!!

Great place to hike and walk. Mountain biking too, if you like to "live on the edge!"

Nice Mtb trail with some flow and a bit of technical. Added trail makes the loop just under 7 miles. Definitely check it out if you haven't for a while

Perfect park to have a picnic. Great playground for kids with shelter, grills, picnic tables etc. Good hiking and single track mountain biking through wooded areas. Hiking trail leads to a nice overlook and meadow. Hiking trail also goes through forested areas and along a creek. Beautiful county park!

A great place to play, spend time with family, go for a hike, ride mountain bikes, and more. What's not to love!? This is one of my favorite parks in the area.

Great trails and scenery for hiking, mountain bikes, or even just a walk and plenty of options for different paces/terrain. Playground, trails, and restrooms are always clean!

Wahlfield Park was beautiful. There were all kinds of paths to choose from and ins some cases room to make your own! Its so peaceful.

Clean restrooms great hiking trails, go there often with my kid and dogs to hike and play on the playground, look forward to the fenced in dog park coming soon!

Nice park with lovely trails and play area for kids..But more bugs, keep bugspary handy while walking through the trail..

Really fun mtb trails with lots of roots, rocks, little climbs and descents. It's not too hard but it keeps you smiling. It's in my rotation of 4 local places I ride all the time. Also has restrooms, a park with stuff for kids, bike stands and tools for public use. If you're in the area and mtb you should definitely check it out at least once.

A great little family park, with 2 gazebos for family parties. The bike and hiking trails are fantastic. Once in a while you can see rabbits and many birds in the area. The bike trail entrance has a bike adjustment station by the east trail entrance. The park is dog friendly; the restrooms are small but clean. The playground is awesome for the little ones.

Thos park/playground is well maintained and pleasant. Very nice playground plus a picnic pavilion. If that isnt enough there are several very nice walking trails, bridges. creeks.

The trails are great to go exploring, or just a nice walk

I like riding this mountain bike trail because it is close to home. The section through the corn field isn't the greatest but there are some fun sections. The West Michigan Mountain Biking Association takes good care of it and is occasionally expanding the trail.

Love coming here. Nice open area with trails. Always clean , quaint and we'll kept. Zeppelin definitely approves.
