Living Legacy Gardens

Beautiful little gardens, we had hoped to hit the fall colors and blooms, but we're too late, still really a good experience! Can't wait until we can visit in the summer!

It's bigger than the photos make it look. Good for a stop on our drive, lots of flowers and plants, educational value, and paths for the kids to explore. Porta-potty onsite was welcome. No cost to enter but donation boxes around the property. Apparently run by volunteers. Very well kept on a September 24 visit.

I was very surprised at how lovely these gardens were, especially so late in the season. Also very well done for such a small town. I was pretty impressed! The 10th grade biology class was there documenting bees. I will certainly stop there again in the future.

Turned out to be a beautiful spot for family pictures and senior photos. Lots of colors and different gardens to explore.

Saw the sign on the highway and decided to see what it was! Beautiful garden area that gave us a chance to stretch our legs!

We love walking in the gardens! Don't forget to check out the vineyard and orchard around the property. They also have corn you can pick yourself for $4 a dozen which was a lot of fun for the family.

Legacy Garden is very beautiful & has an amazing variety of plants, flowers, benches for a small garden. It is also interesting to see all of the students gardens...from Community College. Catch & release pond, grapes, gardens, herbs, fruit trees. We enjoy stopping here...they also have lovely area for a picnic. Don't miss it...love the shade garden.

This event is open to the public held each year right after school starts and is a great way to get familiar with what CLC has to offer. They have great food and even Ice cream in the Gardens. There something for everyone.

Beautiful place. Nothing like it

I have only visited in the off-season, but can assure you that they have all the right perennials in all the right settings. It's a small powerhouse of good Midwestern gardening. Great picnic stop.

The greatest well kept secret near Staples, Mn.A very beautiful and peaceful place. A great bunch of volunteers. Lovingly weed and care for this garden of love.

It's absolutely beautiful! The gorgeous flowers, shrubs, winding brick paths, ponds, gazebos, restive benches make for a wonderfully serene outing that the whole family would enjoy.

Very beautiful garden.

Beautiful, quiet place to just sit and look at flowers, birds. Several great places to take pictures. Wedding groups go there to take pictures.

Impressive place. A great selection of well maintained trees and flowers for a short getaway, or using for photo sessions.

I happened, on a whim, to stop here. So glad I did. As an amateur flower photographer, this was an excellent location to take pictures!!

This is such a beautiful garden to walk through, well kept but simple. They even have a butterfly house and fairy garden
