Derry Plumbing & Heating

Derry plumbing and heating just fired up our new rinnai on demand heat and hot water system. It took in all about 3 weeks. But we are very happy and relieved it's done. They removed our old oil tank, boiler and hot water tank. Brian is a very skilled and meticulous instalation man. Him and Jerry did a excellent job. The two were respectful and down to earth. Dave made the hole process easier for us with good communication. We appreciate there quality work and recommend them.

Our 40 yr old boiler and water tank were replaced. Issac and Bryan were clean-cut, well spoken, polite; on top of that, they were good at cleaning up after themselves. We really appreciated them and am glad I asked my neighbor who he just used. That's why I called them. It worked out well and the office people were pleasant as well. Over all good teamwork must mean something at Derry Plumbing and Heating. Even the initial salesman who set the tone - not pushy, factual and the guys who followed him were just as nice.

I am late to review this, but that doesn’t change the rating. We had Derry Plumbing and Heating out for a bathtub replacement. The lead plumber Mike and his assistant (I am sorry, I forget his name!), we prompt, clean, and professional. When it was discovered that there actually wasn’t anything under the existing tub other than dirt, they were able to quickly adapt and get a new floor poured and get back on their way. The tub is wonderful and we will call Derry Plumbing next time we need something done here!

This is what a local business that cares looks like. We recently had a heating problem in our home when it was freezing out. I quickly got a call back after hours on a Friday night and my worries were eased. Dave walked me through how to trouble shoot the system like I was FAMILY. The next morning an honest, down to earth, and well practiced tradesman arrived right on time and took care of our issues as well as educated us on scheduled repairs we should prepare for, but were not emergent at least not today. The owner here will smile and casually talk to you in store without rushing, as if you are their only customer. So glad to see an honest shop that cares about its customers like this growing. Happy to have you guys around.

Had a clog fixed and new furnace put in. The gentlemen where polite respectful and professional. The work was completed in 2 1/2 days. Highly recommend this company.

Tyler and Aaron have been to my home twice. They're lovely guys, professional, knowledgeable, and willing to go above and beyond for the customer. I'm delighted with the work they've done. I called Derry Plumbing and Heating because I was having an issue with my mini split system. They tried to help me over the phone and called me on face time to walk me through what I needed to try. I love that they tried to save me money first. When that did not fix, they sent Tyler out the same day. He was friendly and helpful to explain everything to me. He was considerate while I needed to take work calls and fixed my unit for me. He called prior to coming, arrived on time, was professional, and ensured everything was back in place and working prior to leaving.

Our boiler started to show signs of breaking down, so we called DP&H, a company we've been using for years. Tyler and his apprentice came out and gave us an honest assessment, went over all of our options, and told us what to expect. Our over 30yr old oil-run boiler was on its last legs and needed to be replaced. So we went ahead with a new propane gas-run boiler. Thank you, Tyler, for your professionalism and expertise in guiding us toward the best solution and getting the ball rolling quickly to install the new, much more efficient boiler.
Justin and his assistant, Christian, installed the new system. They were great! They were highly professional in the work that they did. They were respectful of our family and home. Justin communicated quite well with us, which meant that we always knew what was going on. His explanations were thorough and in such a way that even I could understand. Justin also very promptly let us know of any issues (very few at that!) as they arose and how they were being addressed. The whole installation process went so smoothly! In well under two weeks from the initial assessment, we now have a beautiful, brand new, highly efficient, on-demand water/home heating system, and it works wonderfully!
I also want to thank the guys (unfortunately, I don't remember their names ) who removed the broken boiler and all of its components. They worked through a really rainy day and were highly respectful and professional.
We couldn't be any happier with the new heating system and all of the space that we gained by removing the old one! Thank you, DP&H!

I can’t say enough about Dave at Derry Plumbing and Heating!!

My water heater blew up and In this day and age (with backordered parts and staff shortages) Dave rearranged his crew’s scheduled to get us hot water again.

He sent Ryan and Aaron to do the job and they killed it! They were extremely efficient and proficient. And this was not your average residential water heater..

I live in a mobile home and my water heater is super hard to get to. Of course it blew and I needed a new one. Thanks so much to the two guys who came and saved me. Had a leak coming from my a/c unit in the attic. Two other plumbers couldn't find the problem. Tyler tracked it down and not only found the problem, but also fixed it in good time and a reasonable price. I'd recommend Derry Plumbing and Heating to everyone!

Our Furnace quit working last night. So we called John at Derry Plumbing & Heating, this morning. John sent Tyler and Christian out and fixed our Furnace. Works Great Now. We are so happy. Tyler and Christian were Professional and provided Great Customer Service.

Derry Plumbing & Heating also installed an awesome Central Air Conditioning System in our house, earlier this Summer.

I cannot say enough about this company. I today, had once again, the absolute best experience with them. I have used Dave and his crew for over 30 years and I will share my story. I was a single parent, two children, owned my own home. Every single issue that arose, and there were many, he addressed with courtesy, knowledge and took the time to make sure I understood. I am now, retired, widowed, and today his crew did exactly the same as always. Courtesy, professional, prompt, (water heater died) and took the time to make sure I understood. Thank you Brian

During the recent -10-degree weather this past week our furnace decided to stop working. We tried to press the reset the button without luck and began reaching out to the oil company that supplies us with our home heating oil and a few others and although each had a an “emergency number” none answered. We left messages with hopes that somebody would call back. To our relief, Derry Plumbing and Heating reached out within the hour. The gentleman on the phone was extremely nice and asked a number of questions in order to get an understanding of what the issue was, and said he could have a technician to our house within a few hours.
About an hour later Tyler, the technician, called to let us know that he would be at our home in about 20 minutes. It did not take him long to identify the problem and he had us back up and running quickly. He spent the extra time with me to understand what had happened and before he left made sure that the heating zones in my house were working properly.
I could not be happier with the service and support I received from Derry Plumbing and Heating. Anybody can deliver heating oil or propane to your house, but the true test is if they are there when you really need them.

Josh and Aaron did a fantastic job installing our mini split system in our home. They were super professional, courteous, and went the extra mile taking time when the job was done to show me how to use the units and how to make our home more energy efficient. Very pleased and appreciative of the job they did!

Today Ryan and Aaron changed the oil line and the job was completed in a timely, professional manner. Job site was left clean. Great work guys!!

Update: Since the water heater Dave's crew installed a new heating/central AC unit. Their service was impeccable. Chris and Brian were a testament to the staff employed at Derry Plumbing and Heating. Thank you Dave, Chris and Brian for taking care of us!

One phone call to Dave when our water heater went, and the next day Mike and Aaron came out and installed a new. They were courteous, efficient, timely and did a wonderful job. A pleasure to work with. We highly recommend Derry Plumbing & Heating.

We had an issue with part of the house putting out heat when the thermostats were off. Ryan came out and was able to figure out the problem right away. He was very knowledgeable and gave us a quote for the work we will need to get in the near future to fix the problem. Will definitely be going back with this company when it's time to have those repairs, the company was very timely and professional

I had a tub drain that needed to be replaced and a toilet main that needed to be redone from a job the week before. Mike and Aaron showed up on time with smiles on their faces ready to work. Not only did they repair the Toilet main, they did an excellent job on the trip and drain in a 45 year old tub. They happen to see that I was installing a vanity and did not have the drain hooked up yet (because it was a tough job) Mike took one look at it and said he would fix it for free. I tried to tell him not to worry about it, he said he would rather do it then have me do it. I have to stress this was not an easy typical trap install. They did an excellent job on everything, never showing any frustration and left our home in better condition and cleaner than when they showed. We also have a daycare, they were very kind and respectful to my wife and the children. They were even able to work around the daycare schedule so my wife could use the stove in time for lunch and the water was not shutdown until nap, simply amazing. I can not express enough how happy I am with Derry Plumbing and heating. They do what they say, when they say, very professionally at a great price. Mike and Aaron should be promoted with a raise or at least be considered the face of Derry Plumbing. Thank you Mike and Aaron.
