My wife, children and I really enjoyed the quiet, peaceful location, Christophe was a great host. Hearing the water flowing through the river from our cabin was so relaxing, the cabin was just the right size for our family of six and two fur babies. Didn't get to use the loft above the bar because there were so many extra beds on main level, maybe next time. Our children loved the fairy trail. A wonderful getaway from the busy lives we live. Hope to return some day in the summer!

Great place. Peaceful and owner is very helpful. Great to spend some time surrounded by singing birds and nature for a few days. We stayed in the Adirondack Cabin and had plenty of space for us and our doggie Pennie. Also has a full kitchen which is great for those who do not like to eat out every meal. There is a Dollar General close by for anything you may have forgotten.

Always amazing to stay at Wellnesste Lodge. Enjoyed the winter wonderland and just the peace of the place. Such a unique and beautiful place to relax and soak up the beauty. Winter is cool, summer here is absolutely awesome!! --Update: they finished their Schoolie, a school bus converted into a cabin!!! So awesome!!!

Christophe was so accommodating to our last minute change. The grounds were very peaceful and well kept even in the winter! We enjoyed the recommendation of strolling the walking trails by the river in the morning. The fairy forest would be magical in the summer especially if you have children. We stayed in Wilson's Cabin. Don't let the typical cabin outside fool you, inside was beautiful, clean, cozy and had everything you'd needed. Echo was a great tour guide, even when he took a stroll with us in the dark. He kept our pup, Henry, throughly entertained! We cant wait to come back!
Definitely requires a AWD vehicle to get up and down the hill in the winter as stated.

When my husband and I were looking for outdoor, woodsy wedding venues, my maid of honor pointed us to Wellnesste after asking around. Choosing Wellnesste as our venue was one of the best decisions we made, especially for planning a wedding during COVID where everything can be outside. We were married at Wellnesste on August 1, 2020 in an outdoor ceremony and reception, and we rented out Wellnesste for the entire weekend to stay with our bridal party and parents. The entire weekend was magical and one of the best we’ve ever had. We watched so many people we love come together to support us throughout an amazing weekend.

Part of why everything went so smoothly was because of Christophe and the work and love he has put into Wellnesste. From helping get things set up on Friday, to shuttling guests, and helping us pull the trailer up the hill after a big rain, Christophe was there. DIY weddings can be tricky but having Christophe there and choosing a venue like Wellnesste where we were there for several days made everything a bit easier. I would 100% absolutely recommend Wellnesste as a wedding venue for any couple looking for a laid back, woodsy, dreamy, and rustic wedding venue!

Absolutely perfect! Gorgeous location with beautiful grounds. The cabin was clean and well stocked with everything from pots, plates etc to fun board games. Our stay exceeded expectations! Love that our dog was able to join us on such a fun trip!

Visited the lodge on a whim while traveling for business. Needed a place to stay in the area and was tired of the "commercial experience". Stumbled upon this little gem, tucked in the woods alongside the river. What a peaceful place. I brought along a sandwich but forgot a beverage. The lodge keeper made good with a cold drink and I enjoyed my meal by a campfire. Later spent some time by the river listing to the water roll across the rocks and took a short walk thru the wooded trails. As an added bonus, Verizon Cell srvc. was 5-bars and had no issue connecting my laptop thru my phone.

This is an absolute oasis of magic, peace, fairies, and sanctuary in Trump country. We left regenerated, well-rested, taken care of by the land and the supporters at Wellneste. We will absolutely be back. We spent 4 days in bliss living in love. Moments away from hiking trails, the property is beautiful to explore and we had wonderful amenities and views of the majestic creek in Marin's Cabin. The wood is alive with healing, I promise. This place is an absolute vision and treasure. Come to rebirth, restore, let go, and let Godx!

We absolutely loved it here! So cozy and peaceful, not to mention beautiful! My husband and I came for a winter weekend getaway but already plan to come back for a week long summer vacation with family. Our puppies loved it, too!

So happy to have found this absolute gem! Quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. Beautiful property with a pond, fairy village, nature trails, and of course the free range chickens, ducks and the security team of Oddie and Echo (dogs)! Several clean and well kept cabins to rent. We stayed in the Adirondack cabin, which was huge and had enough room to sleep 8-9 people. Full kitchen and bathroom. Great place to get away and unwind. We will definitely be returning!

It was a nature oasis away from everything. We loved enjoying the river, the woods, watching the chickens running freely around, even listening to the rain at night. The facility was clean. The owner was helpful and responded quickly. Highly recommended for someone looking for an alternative destination.

We LOVE Wellnesste! We went first for a mini-honeymoon in 2016, and have been back at least once every year since. The property is gorgeous, and perfectly remote. It's rustic and off-the-grid, which is not for everyone, but is perfect for us. It's the best place to unplug and reset. Chris is such a wonderful host, always very helpful and friendly. I can't say enough good things about this place, it's an absolute gem.

A true slice of heaven. My husband and I greatly enjoyed every minute here, so peaceful, we spent the days hiking and exploring the river. The cabin was clean and inviting, staff was super friendly. So excited for our next trip ❤

We learned about Wellnesste from friends and we made plans for a getaway in early Spring. 4 of us and our dogs stayed in the Adirondack cabin. It was bigger and nicer than we expected. We loved sitting at the bar each night after long hikes in the area. It was an excellent getaway. Christophe is a great host, made sure we had everything we needed. You can tell he truly cares and love this retreat and wants his guests to love it too. Must visit in every season.

My husband & I stayed in the Adirondack cabin for 2 nights and had a wonderful time. The cabin was very spacious and had everything we needed to be comfortable. There are some really cool things right on the property like the mirror pond where we saw a ton of little frogs along the water, the flat rocks by the river, and the walking trails in the woods. There were 2 awesome friendly dogs that we loved to play fetch with (shout out to Ace and Chubby!!) and we enjoyed seeing the chickens and ducks too. The hosts were around and available but we still had all of the privacy that we wanted. It was such a peaceful trip. We can't wait to go back!

Wellnesste is such a unique and peaceful place! Life is so crazy most of the time so it was so nice to have a weekend to just relax. Our cabin was small and cozy, and had everything we could need! Communication with Christophe was very easy and he was an awesome host! There is a pond and river and nice walking paths too! It was awesome that we could bring our dog. He really enjoyed it and had fun! Thanks for a great weekend getaway!

My daughter and I went for a weekend get away. We even brought our pups. What a perfect experience. Just what we needed. From the beautiful fairy trail to the river and meditation areas, it was simply an amazing and peaceful retreat. The cabin was wonderful and supplied with all we needed. We especially enjoyed our hosts. They were very attentive when needed. We will be back.

This place is magical! It’s like it’s own little world of peace and relaxation! We rented the Happy Camper Bus and were blown away by the transformation of a school bus into a cozy cabin. It was the perfect secluded getaway in these crazy times. You can have as little or as much interaction as you choose with other campers. We enjoyed sitting by our private fire pit, exploring the woods on multiple trails, and meeting all the wonderful animals on the property! We can’t wait to go back and try the Tree House cabin!

Great weekend retreat! We stayed in the Happy Camper Bus for the weekend with our pup. We basically just wanted to do some relaxing without interruption of day to day life, and spend some alone time together. The camper was so cute and unique we loved it! Very clean and well stocked with dishes, a mini fridge, coffee maker, full size stove and oven, heaters, fans, blankets, etc. Christophe, the owner, was very hospitable and friendly... We were hoping for snow so we could do some snowshoeing, (next time) but we were just as happy going on nature walks enjoying our time together. Beautiful, peaceful scenery. We will definitely go back and would definitely recommend!

Before we started this trip, we checked out the weather. The big snow worried us a lot. However, following Christophe’s instructions, we got nothing to worry about. He was waiting on road and helping us park the car, settle down everything in our lovely cabin. The scenery is beautiful and we had a lot of fun in Wellnesste lodge. It is a great place to spend vocation and feel the harmony between human and nature. We found no problems at all for cooking and making tea&coffee. Among the same concept lodges, Wellnesste has the best price/quality ratio. Hope to visit again in summer. Really appreciate everything that Chris arranged.
