Finally! Some darn good onion rings!

Ordered ahead of time over the phone, which was a task and a half. At first I thought they were so busy no one could answer the phone, but I think I figured out what happened after having actually gotten to the restaurant. The restaurant is actually, officially, closed for the season as of October 30th according to a paper taped to the door to the place. I was only able to order take out when I called the Pro Shop, and the guy there actually took my order. That was cool.

Went with an order of a Caesar Salad, the basket of Onion Rings, and the Chicken Parmesan Sandwich. The total came to a little over $40, which is a bit pricy, but this is a golf course so that's *ahem* par for the course. Heh.

When I got home and opened it all up I was impressed with the visual quality, looked great, but the real test was the taste. Well the onion rings were phenomenal. Perfectly crispy, abundant flavor, and that horseradish dip that came with them paired so well. And that's coming from a guy who doesn't like horseradish typically. The salad was equally fantastic, every bit of it coated with just enough dressing, a light sprinkling of cheese, and the homemade croutons kept their crunchy-ness despite the trip home. And then the main course, the sandwich. Well it was exactly what it said it would be, a chicken parmesan between two buns. A thin spread of marinara sauce, two chicken patties, with some great buns that really held onto the fillings. The accompanying fries were alright, but the sandwich was the real deal.

Overall I was throughly happy with my purchase, especially those onion rings, man, they were so good. Great job Cooley Kill, you get my thumbs up.

Our first time here! Service is amazing and the food is even better. Pictured is the arancini appetizer, risotto and mozzarella then fried and served with a tomato cream sauce. Decadent is a good word to describe it. We ordered the sirloins and the sear was mmmmm. Grilled asparagus was cooked perfectly I was shocked.

Definitely will return and maybe even become members of the golf course 😉

Had a WONDERFUL TIME this past weekend for my wedding. The staff was absolutely perfect during the wedding. Kim and her team made our special day effortless and the planning process simple and stress free!! The food was AMAZING!! Their chef knocked it out of the park!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Just returned from this restaurant and it was an excellent experience! Our food was delicious and piping hot! Felt bad for our waitress as she was the ONLY waitress working. Another young lady (Amanda) took us to our seat and answered as many questions as she was allowed as she is not yet an actual waitress. She will be great when she is 18! Beautiful view, great food and friendly service. What more can you ask for on a beautiful Saturday evening !

This is my 5th time at Cooley Kill in the last 2 months. In my last three visits, I got the NY Strip with mash potatoes and asparagus. Today, I tried it with the Au Poivre. Service is always very good. The steak is very delicious. It has a nice char on the outside, has plenty of flavor throughout and cooked just right. And the price is right. Arancini with the smoked gouda is also very delicious. I decided on a Chardonnay; they have one. It is buttery, very pleasant.

I have officiated many weddings and attended dinners at the Vista. First of all, the wedding planner, Kim us superb. She is a skilled and experienced professional. She is Tops at what she does and it makes the day great for everyone.
The food and service has also always been very good.

Best hamburger I ever had! I don't usually eat red meat but the slow-roasted pork topping had me I intrigued.

The Vista has been a true friend this summer of 2020.
Always there for a quick bite or a really nutritious meal.
And waiting on us has always been such happy accommodating wait staff. And too, always a place for a quick nine. The forward tees are perfect sometimes.
And Mark is there with a big smile and aimed to please.
Where else can you eat dinner and watch people get a hole in... Hopefully one. At least a bogie though.

Just had a wonderful, leisurely, Sunday afternoon dinner. Beer was cold, food was good, and the service was Great. Thank you Alexis... Will certainly be coming back....

We wanted s quiet place to meet with new friends where we could count on good food and great service. The consistency of food and service always more than meet our expectations. In addition, the building is beautiful and clean and we are always glad we chose it, especially when accompany friends. We highly recommend!!!

Great spot for an evening get together. Patio overlooks beautiful golf course. Evening was devine considering earlier heat of the day. Patio in total shade that time of day so it was very comfortable. Four of the 6 had greek salmon salad. 2 took half home. I had crab cake salad. Cake a bit small but was delicious. Hubby was evening winner. "Steak" sandwich was a real steak-not shaved! $16!!! Looked delicious but he didn't share. He also raved about New England clam chowder. 1 guest ordered soup of the day but it never showed up. All in all. Great night. Waitress seemed a bit out of it but was accommodating to write 3 individual checks for us. Nice local neighborhood spot for us even though only 2 people regularly play golf. Oh! Mama & 2 baby wood chucks chasing around on course provided entertainment. Cute!

Had a mini reunion of GE colleagues and the food was OUTSTANDING! The two servers were wonderful. Strongly recommend the Vista. Will go back next year for the fifth year in a row.

We had a great lunch outside overlooking the golf course. The salmon and Cobb salads are outstanding. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Really good food . Very professional staff. Reasonably priced. Beautiful dining room overlooks the golf course. Our waiter Max was par excellant.

Nice place too sit outside and eat your meal while watching people playing golf. Very relaxing atmosphere. Food was good. I had the chicken tempura as my entree and it was very very good. 👍

Great live music by band "Part Time" accompanied by delicious crab stuffed sole dinner. Plus overlooking peaceful golf course view.

The venue is beautiful and the servers are very nice. It's set back off the road a ways, so you'll be able to relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.
