Imperial Diner

A second review. Great service by an absolutely adorable waiter. Lots of parking. Clean pleasant atmosphere. Lamb gyro was delicious and the iconic pickle and coleslaw dish was so yummy. One of us ordered a Belgian waffle and ice cream and was delighted. She had pink lemonade and finished every drop. I had a bagel all the way. Lox was perfect and the cream cheese and capers made me happy.

Nice and clean. Can't go wrong here. Good food and charming atmosphere. I must say, one of the things i like about this diner other than most, is that you are not clumped together and cramped with other patrons, i hate that. It's roomy and spacious. The staff are very nice and keep checking on you to make sure you're enjoying the visit. I think i'll be back again soon to try some French toast or one of those delicious looking desserts. Nice, nice.

Hostess Olga is always sweet and very helpful, my waitress was a delight and my food as usual was hot and delicious I had a veggie burger deluxe comes w coleslaw & a pickle ginger ale w lemon left there stuffed & happy 😋

Amazing.

When I walked in, the cozy atmosphere instantly made me feel at home. The menu had such a wide variety of mouthwatering options that it was hard to choose. But let me tell you, whatever you end up ordering, it will blow your taste buds away! I had the luxury of ordering their famous “Imperial Chicken Panini.” The panini was seasoned to perfection. Every single bite was pure bliss. But the service? Oh my goodness, the staff went above and beyond to make sure I had the best dining experience possible.

I will definitely be retuning.

Great food options, tasty, decent coffee. Went for breakfast with my kids, partner. and sisters. Good service. Very kid-friendly. The lady at the front desk who worked there asked me first and gave my kids a treat on our way out, which she didn’t have to do. Would go back. Omelettes were great size, home fries almost like French fries and crispy. Good portions, not excessive. Would go back. Overall cute place! Good size parking lot.

My husband and I decided to stop here on a whim and I'm glad we did. Our waiter that night was so sweet and funny. Everything came out with good time and the food was delicious. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area looking for a good diner!

As dinners go. This was really a good one. Was there for a meeting. Everyone ordered the turkey burger (different side). This was the best turkey burger I have ever had. I had a Cesar salad side, just the right size, not too large or too small. Had an adequate amount of dressing. Came with onionrings (not to oily), just enough dressing and adequate size. The service was very good, though we took our time ordering the young lady was patient and checked on us often. I would go there again for a meeting or with family or friends.

The service was AMAZING! Our wait staff was knowledgeable and he was great with helping to make suggestions. The food was good diner food with a nice selection of dishes. Our table of 5 all enjoyed their food and drinks. The portions were so large no one had room for dessert!

I rather focus on the outstanding service in this diner/ restaurant. I t has been awhile that I have observed Mr. Felipe Morales, Director of Services. He pays attention to details in the restaurant. He shows his excellent management skills, as follows: meticulous - maintaining cleanliness; integrity- taking pride in his job; professional demeanor- proper, impeccable dresser, respectful, friendly and welcoming. This is just a general evaluation of Mr. F. Morales. I found him striking since I had over 40 yrs of heading “pressure cooker” departments in higher education. It is a joy to see his performance. I would have hired him as my assistant . You guys are lucky to have him.

Billy has turned this "diner" into a RESTAURANT...
Billy is one of the nicest, down to earth people that treats his employees VERY WELL. Just look at the longevity of his staff. He has multiple people working there for over 30 years.
He has a great leadership, with Steve, Matt and Jason as well as some of the best waitstaff and support people.
The waitstaff rely on your gratuities. That is what supports them and their families. Every dollar that they do get from the customer is definitely well earned as they hustle and bustle to make sure every order is delivered to your table perfectly!
Please, do the right thing by them. They deserve it. They are the nicest bunch of people that work their butts off to make that staple in Freeport what it is, today.

I went there with my husband and this is our 2nd time going and the food is great the customer service is amazing. The atmosphere inside is very nostalgic. It makes me feel as if I'm in a diner from the nineties.

The thai chicken salad was pretty good, more soggy than I would like but would probably get it again. My friend got the burger, he said it was good. Two other friends got paninis and said they were amazing. However the chicken and waffles was less than average.

Going to Imperial Diner for a meal is like coming home. My family celebrates birthdays, special occasions and family visits at the Imperial as well as the typical diner visit. We are always greeted with a smile and friendly conversation. The staff is welcoming and understanding of dietary restrictions and gives amazing service. The food is great and it is the cleanest diner I have ever been too!

This place has been around for such a long time it is our go to spot for breakfast and lunch the portions are big. The food is flavorful and fresh. If you go you have to try the omelettes. I highly recommend this place for a family or a couple or even if you're by yourself. there's Also a bar.

This place is iconic. The food is always great along with the service and atmosphere. Upon entering, you will be greeted by a friendly face, and you will see the dessert counter. Don't look at it too long, or you will certainly be leaving with something delicious. I love their breakfast as well as their paninis.

One of the best diners in Nassau, good food, huge portions.
