Nice quiet park with beautiful views of Canadice Lake. Not much of a walking/hiking trail but great spot for a picnic. No swimming is allowed, similar to Hemlock Lake. But you can fish, canoe, or kayak - this would be a good place to launch a kayak. Just a nice calm and relaxing space.

Such a peaceful place on Canadice Lake that I never realized! Forget cell phone reception here, just take pictures, enjoy, share it later! Look for second major sign on Canadice Lake Road and for the small trail (see photos).

A great place to pull over so you can walk down a very short path to experience the rocky beach, water and calming views of Lake Canadice. Wear appropriate shoes for walking on dirt, rocks and uneven ground.

This is a quiet spot with a short hike to a shallow water shale beach. Not wheelchair accessible. A kiosk at the 3-4 car parking area explains the governance of the surrounding region which is used as a water reservoir for the city of Rochester 30 miles to the north. There is a large smooth polished marble memorial bench on the edge of the woods with a fine view northward. The sun sets about 15 minutes early on this spot due to proximity of the steep hillside on the western shore, so while sunset adds nice hues to the area, time it accordingly.

Small rocky launch for kayaking, paddle boarding and fishing. No swimming (including dogs) as it's a reservoir.

Fantastic place to canoe, hike, or relax. There are no cottages on this lake to spoil the views.
