Cafe Mio

You guys don’t know what’s the local food yet in upstate.
This place only uses local farm product, which first time I could say the difference of the freshness.

Highly recommend to try this place.

Forgot what fish but look at the size.
Especially vegetables are fenomenal.

Apply pie has great balance of sweetness.

Even surprised with regular omelets & bread.

I have been here a few times now and can say I’ve never been disappointed. Every dish I’ve ordered has been so delicious and flavorful, and they use good quality ingredients. Both the French toast dishes and the corned beef hash are to die for. I always order the Lavender Fog, its so comforting. I’ve only ever ordered their breakfast items, but my friends all raved about the lunch dishes they ordered. Worth a stop!

Surprised how busy at 130/2pm but well worth the wait. Located in small strip at bend, parking can be limited when bank is open. Otherwise, locally sourced (check the chalk board) ingredients, including the beer somewhat. Fries and potatoes were street fair style. All in all, will stop again when next in area.

We went to Cafe Mio for lunch (after a Sunday walk). There was a wait, but it was absolutely worth it. Great grassfed burger, and great service!

Constantly updating this review, I cannot recommend this place more! Every time I come here the specials are just incredible! Locally sourced meals, amazing lattes, always excellent service!

We stopped in for breakfast yesterday, and we were pleasantly surprised. The hostess was so friendly, and our waitress was wonderful. We both ordered their delicious corned beef hash, and we were both impressed.

We are planning to return, but next time, we will split a couple of dishes because the portions are pretty generous.

This is a great breakfast spot. Best in the area, ok only one in the area. It's wonderful that they don't have wifi. You need to be off your phone and enjoy company. The food is always good. I love the salad, mio breakfast, French toast specials, and the burger. They also do a good lunch here too. The staff are so kind and attentive. I always enjoy going here . Only downside is that it's always busy and typically a wait for a table.

Cafe Mio is a lovely treasure in Gardiner, NY. They serve breakfast and lunch, and do it fabulously! The blackened catfish sandwich was delicious and the pulled pork sandwich looked messy and wonderful and also was said to be delicious. Most sandwiches come with a lovely green salad but fries are also available, and they are sinfully scrumptious. Very very friendly staff and plenty of parking

Loved this place. Local farm driven. Very good specials. Would recommend for breakfast and lunch :) 45 minute wait today on a Sunday morning but hey it was worth it. They let us get coffee from the bar while we waited outside and it was — chef 👩🏼‍🍳 kiss 💋

We were seated right away. Food came out quickly and was great. Staff was really nice. We felt prices were good also

Went for a rainy, misty Sunday morning brunch, and the first thing I realized after reaching there was there was no network or wifi. In a way, it was great because we were in the moment and enjoying our food.

The ambiance was a pretty cafe in a small town. It was pretty crowded as well. I overheard someone saying that there are days when the waiting is 45 mins. Thankfully we did not have to wait to be seated.

What did we order?
~ We ordered the day's special broccoli rabe and beetroot omelet with a side of potatoes and toast. It was delicious. And someone who loves their veggies like me would love it.

~ Veggie tofu scramble - replaced it with eggs. Was yum. Lots of veggies with a side of toast and potatoes.

~ Nutella latte - one-word DELICIOUS! Perfect start to our morning.

~ To end our brunch we ordered apple cinnamon French toast even though we were full. And we managed to eat 90 percent of it.

Overall, great place, with amazing service, and delicious food. Worth the visit.

I came with a large group of friends, and while it took a while to get a table-- that's on us, it WAS a large group -- the staff were very accommodating and kind. I had the scrambled tofu. It was light and tasty.

There aren't a lot of options for vegans like myself but the offering is nice -- and shockingly rare for a breakfast place.

Found this gem while on our drive to some of the Apple picking farms, and had a great time! Service was excellent, food was delicious and generously portioned.

Incredible delicious food. You can tell they take pride in their quality and presentation. If you are in the area, this is a must visit place to eat

What a great brunch spot! Large selection of wine and beverages, outdoor seating, and fast service. You have to try the banana bacon french toast, it’s one of the best things ive ever eaten. Highly recommend the fried shrimp bahn mi special as well, it was delicious. Will be back ASAP.

What an incredible find! Understated as it is, and as typical as it looks, Cafe Mio packs a big punch! Not only was the food incredible, but the service was even better. Did I mention they serve breakfast all day? Go here.

Went with my brother to try this place he saw it in a magazine he was telling me about how the have local beef burgers so we tried the grain feed and the grass fed burger at the same time and the grass feed local was soooo good we will definitely be going back.

This place is great! Amazing food and so many flavored Iced teas and lemonade. You can watch the skydivers if you sit outside.

Super delicious !!! Really great service at a great price point. Ordered a blackened catfish sandwich - the sauce on the burger was great, the fish very flakey and tender, and the sprouts were really tasty. The side greens were really hearty and I really liked that they didn't drown the salad in dressing! Would definitely love to come here again!
