Brought family member for upper GI. We arrived early and they fit us in an empty slot and we were in and out really quickly. Polite, professional, and comfortable waiting room.

I can not give enough stars in this review for the quality and professionalism that the Burt Hills office has provided to me for my very first colonoscopy. This office sets the bar that every medical office in the state of New York should look to reach. The initial appointment took less than 25 minutes from check-in to end. They explained everything that would happen on the day of my procedure and what I needed to do to prepare for a successful colonoscopy. I followed their instructions to the letter and on the day of the procedure, things could not have gone better. I highly recommend Dr. Josephson especially if you have high anxiety like me. He is one of the most compassionate, highly educated and informative doctors I have ever met. When I met him the day of the exam, my anxiety went away within seconds of talking with him. Biggest fear of getting a camera in the rear is, Is it going to hurt?! I can tell you that you will not even know you are in the room when he does the procedure because you are out like a light! They woke me up from the best sleep of my life and I didn't even know he did the exam! No pain afterwards or during at all. DON'T hesitate to get a colonoscopy due to fear!!! The prep is the absolute worst part because you can only eat jello and clear liquids the day before and poop a lot! Also, I might note...if you are worried about arriving and still having to poo because you don't know if it's over, don't worry. They have TONS of bathrooms specifically for this purpose. Don't risk your life waiting in fear. Get it done!

Professional, comfortable, things move right along. Great care

I had a procedure on September 2nd 2022. Dr. Adsit and staff assigned to me, are the most professional, Compassionate, and kindhearted people. When preparing for my procedure, I asked the nurse if my Libre Sensor needed to be removed (13 days left before replacing). The nurse or another staff member called Abbott Diabetic Care Inc. I didn’t need to remove my sensor. YEAH😀 THANK YOU for going above and beyond. KUDOS!

Had a routine procedure with Dr. Cornish and can't say enough about how personable and professional everyone was from beginning to end -- and that goes for literally every staff member I came into contact with. Thank you to all!

I was so scared to have this procedure done. The staff at SSEC were phenomenal! Dr Feinberg, the anesthesiologist and nurse were very professional. They also used some humor to ease my nerves and I felt much more at ease. Procedure went great and when I need to do this again I will be more willing instead of putting it off for 3 years like I did before this procedure!

The nurses were so sweet and made me feel so much better about having a procedure done. Dr. Adsit was very professional and knowledgeable along with the anesthesiologists and nurse anesthetist. Overall amazing experience!! Thank you !

Let me start by saying i was nervous when i arrived, the minute a walk in i was greeted by the receptionist who was very nice i then was checked in at desk in which the the lady made me feel a little less nervous
I sat back down the called me back to area i was to prep for my endoscopy and the nurse was so nice. I then met the doctor Chaudhary he made me feel so relax about the whole experience i tell you they are great

Very Caring

Had a colonoscopy, was told to arrive at 1:30 got there a few minutes before, procedure was scheduled for 2:15 they didn’t bring me in to start prepping me until 2:30, they didn’t finish the prep until 2:50. I get some procedure may take longer then anticipated but if I were to have showed up at even 2pm, 2:15 I wouldve been turned away for being “late” but it’s acceptable to bring me in a half hour late? Unprofessional and really unacceptable. I have 9 bruises on my legs from this procedure, I’m baffled. I sit her so concerned as to what happened that would leave so many bruises. I rarely bruise even when I bump into something hard so I don’t understand how I got so many in so little time. It scares me. I have an endoscopy in a few days and I’m truly scared to go back and be put under what other bruises or injuries will show up this time? How rough were they with my limp body? The women anesthesiologist was very comforting as I went under and for her I am very thankful but I just can’t help but wonder where all these bruises came from & why they think it’s ok to bring someone in for a procedure so late .

Positive experience but evidently they bill differently from comparable services in the area, so insurance pays MUCH less for the same procedure, and you pay double the copays!!
