Everything was just right. Eddy, our server couldn’t be any better. Knowledgeable, personable, and great to talk to. Veal chop special and the bolognese hit the spot. The burrata app special hit all the flavors on all levels.

We went to The George for Thanksgiving dinner. It was wonderful! Our server Eddie made the meal all the more special. From the Point Judith calamari to the delicious desserts, everything was fantastic.

So, I had to delete my review from 2 years ago because you cannot post more than 1 review for a single business.

With that said... I'm writing a new one.

Alex continues to run amazing and successful restaurants with an amazing staff! Today I went in for brunch and had the lobster roll. I've had 1000s of lobster rolls in my life but, the one I had today was outrageously awesome!! The flavor was beautiful. If you haven't been here for their brunch, you're missing out. Go!! And a special thanks to Lily the bartender. She was super sweet and represents what Alex expects in his employees. Actually his entire staff at all of his places are great.

Get to The George and Saint. You won't regret it!!

I was always a little intimidated to come in here for lunch or dinner, so I chose brunch and was very happy I did.
I had the lobster Benedikt, it was delicious. The bartender was very friendly. And yes, I did have the bottomless Mimosa, which was very good, but you have to be careful 😉.

I messed up my reservation and arrived on the wrong night, but they were super nice about it and super accommodating. Got us a table even though they were very crowded on a Saturday night.
We then went on for what I call my three G's . Great food, Great service and Great atmosphere! Perfect.
Eddy our server was fantastic and whoever made our drinks knows their stuff. Delicious! Everything was fabulous!

We stopped in for a late dinner with the kids after monster truck jam. They gave us a big table in a corner, perfect for a party with kids. The server admitted that they do not see kids frequently there, so there was no kids menu. They were able to give us chicken tenders and fries, which the kids loved.
The atmosphere was light and fun. There was a performer singing on the bar side, we were able to sing along. Service was good. One of the kids spilled a cocktail and the server came to the rescue with napkins and a new drink. They were very patient with us and attentive. We took our homemade desserts to go. Overall we had a great time and hope to go back without kids so we can checkout the speakeasy downstairs!

Filet surf & Turf, with sauted shrimp, jumbo scallops & lump crab meat ... this was one of the best meals I've had. Right before we saw Temptations at PPAC

Incredible food, very high quality. Lots of menu options. Including gluten free and vegetarian. Live music that was, again, incredible(I believe only on weekends). The service was amazing they're on point, go the extra mile, and very nice. They sand a couple songs we requested and sang happy birthday to my friend. They make you feel special there. I loved everything about this place! I'll definitely be back!

We visited on Saturday the lighting festival, and were looking for any dine in. It was the nearest place. The staff was extremely nice and courteous. There was live old music inside in a separate room. The interior is nice too. There was no kids menu, so we ordered for kids from the regular menu. The food was delicious. The waiter was very nice, you can see that they really care about their customers. And the Banana cream pie for desert was the best ever.

First experience at this place and I was very impressed. Not only did the chef cook my burger absolutely perfect! But all my guests at my table loved their food as well. The gentlemen who sang by the piano was a gem! I really enjoyed Steven Anthony and the rest of the staff. I will most certainly be back for more!

The menu covers all the bases without too many choices to consider. The food was fantastic and presented well. Our server, Haley, was excellent. The drinks were not six ice cubes in a shot glass with a splash of drink choice.
We ate in the lounge to enjoy the entertainment that night…Christiana….who certainly can use her talents professionally; just the right mix of food, drink and entertainment.
Although not a place to dine every night….moderate high prices….it certainly is well worth trying and you will go back again,

The place is really cute! It’s the old Local 121 location so it’s still beautiful stained glass windows etc. the bar side is sooo gorgeous. we came for the Sunday brunch.
He ordered the George Breakfast which was just classic eggs, toast, homefries, ham but it was perfect.
I had the eggs Benedict… It wasn’t my favorite…. I would probably try something else next time instead.
The owner came out to speak with everyone and introduced himself and asked how we liked things and told us about the place.
I want to come back for dinner because it’s really cute and romantic imo but I didn’t like what I ordered and I wouldn’t recommend the eggs Benedict.
There’s minimal parking but a clean restroom and Wi-Fi (but it wasn’t working when I came)

Wonderful experience. Took some friends from out of town to see a show around the corner. They got a bit lost and we were running late, but the staff understood our situation and accommodated us well! Heather was extremely understanding, and helped assure us we would make it on time. She suggested delicious drinks and put us at ease while we were stressing over the time. Her welcoming, fun, and reassuring personality was just what we needed! The atmosphere is just incredible. Victorian era vibes. Ornate and aesthetically pleasing, while not being filled with stuffy staff or patrons. The food came out hot, and with enough time to make the show, as promised! Will definitely be back to spend more time in this warm and chic establishment, without having to rush out.

Celebrated my 30th birthday and the whole staff was so accommodating to some last minute additions to my reservation. The ambiance in the actual restaurant is gorgeous, it feels so sophisticated inside. The food and service were both phenomenal, Eddy is amazing and every person that assisted him with our table was so lovely. 10/10 will be going back!

Our servers were excellent and helpful in our food and drink choices. We had white sangria which was so delicious and refreshing. The handmade mozzarella cake was the best we've had. The marinara sauce that accompanied it was seasoned perfectly. We couldn't get enough of it. I ate the stuffed mushrooms with a side of broccoli slaw and waffle fries. The portions were generous. I wish I could have finished it all or taken it to go, but we didn't have a microwave in our hotel. I ended it perfectly with an espresso. My husband had the bolognese and he finished every last bite. He said it was amazing! He was stuffed. Rob Marin was our piano player and vocalist for the evening. He was so enjoyable and fun to listen to.

We dined at the George on Thanksgiving. The inside is beautiful, the wood work and gold trim was elegant. We had reservations and were seated right away. Our server was EJ (same as our son) he was very attentive. The pictures I took don't do the food justice because we ate most of it before I took a picture. The mozzarella is made fresh everyday. The sauce is delicious. It was a special Thanksgiving menu and our 3 year old specifically said he did not want turkey for dinner. The chef made him the tenders and waffle fries. He was so happy when he saw they were waffle fries!! My husband and I both got the chicken parm with rigatoni. The owner also came over to every table and said hi and thanked us for dining in. The prices were very reasonable. We can't wait to dine again.

My wonderful Lady and I have frequented The George 3 times over these past 8 months. Each time became... "another memorable night at The George." Ownership and Management are absolute pro's in every way... Food and drinks are superb and always delicious... The Service, from beginning (valet), to end ( "check please"), is hard to compete against. And, for the icing on the cake, is Entertainment... upstairs and down. Our favorite spot is downstairs in the Speakeasy that has the coolest of appearances and sound.
