Beer Barrel Pizza and Grill

Family friendly restaurant and bar. Great place to enjoy the food. Has an atmosphere of a family restaurant mixed with a sports bar. Dim lighting made it difficult to read the menus ( probably for the bar) but the candles gave a nice ambience. A little noisy for friendly conversations but not too much to still be able to communicate with your company. Had the octoberfest version of bratwurst platter, everything about it was delicious! I normally don't eat sauerkraut but that was the first thing eaten off my plate! The whole platter was tasty and filling - Kudos to the chef! Also ate the delicious garlic bread twists, covered in an oil or butter yet still was soft and chewy on the inside, the marinara dip was tasty too, highly recommend the breat twists. The waitress also did a great job at keeping the drinks topped up. Others enjoyed battered chicken and fries as well as brisket Mac and cheese.
Update Jan 2024. Went back for another round, this time found out lighting in booths are much easier to read menus. Also tried the baked french onion soup and the BB meatball salad. Can't get enough of those meatballs with the sauce! Great combo! Definitely recommend it. My companions also had the chicken soup and spaghetti and meatballs, good size portions.

The food here was absolutely delicious the atmosphere was calming and the service was exceptional.

We recently visited for our 1st time. This place is amazing! Good food, great service. Tyler was our waiter and he was absolutely amazing. Very friendly, attentive,
(but not overly to the point of feeling rushed out.) and great smile! We will definitely be visiting again!!

Had a wonderful time here with some friends for a birthday gathering. The staff was prompt with their service, pleasant to talk to and the food was delightful, I have met other friends here for dinner and drinks. I will definitely be coming here more often.

My family And I came in Yesterday Our third time in there And I must say we are very good experience. Our server Brandie Was very friendly Very helpful And suggesting items on the menu. Everything came out fast In our drinks stayed filled. Kudos Brandie and chef for the best experience yet and I have very picky children ❤

Love beer barrel!! I’m a regular of the server Seth! He was our server the first time we ever came here and we’ve been coming about once a week to see Seth!! He’s such an amazing server and you can tell he gives it his all!

My husband received a gift card from his work for this place so we decided to try it out after an appointment. I'm very, very critical of pizza, especially anything noted as deep dish as I've had Pequods and Lou Malnati's in Chicago. Most places out here screw it up but not this place! My husband had the meat lovers deep dish and I had the thin crust (I know, I know it was not deep dish) Thai Chicken. Both pizzas were phenomenal and our server, Jo, was awesome! Given pricing for true deep dish pizza (comparable to someplace local like Pizza Papalis) they were fairly evenly priced. Two 14" pizzas, pulled pork nachos, and two drinks was around $79. I think this might be our new go-to in the area.

This place has great food! The menu is huge, and the variety is a mile long. The lighting gives a nice feeling of ambience, however it's a bit rough when trying to read the great menu.

Had a great pizza here. The others all liked their meals as well. It's a little dark, but nice. We will eat here again.

Amazing delicious food. The best pizza in Toledo, and in my top 3 pizzas of all time. It waiter was friendly and attentive. The staff goes the extra mile during the current COVID situation by covering the trys of food as they walk them to your table.

Food was amazing and the atmosphere was great. Highly recommend arriving earlier on weekends during football season as you can expect a wait.

I just wanted to start with me and my husband own a restaurant in Bowling Green Ohio. We have tried beer barrel a couple times before due to my father-in-law loving their manicotti.. unfortunately, the service we have had prior to yesterday has never been satisfactory. Our servers seem to pay more attention to their phones or the other server friends. And not our service.. so we were dreading coming back in yesterday evening with my father-in-law and, since I have no problem stating what I dislike now I want to leave a review on something I really liked. All three of us had sat in a booth yesterday and we were greeted by a server name Brandy. She said this was her first time serving on her own with this particular restaurant. I just want to say I have never had such great service anywhere. She was very attentive to our needs. She greeted us efficiently. She kept up on everything. She was very personable, very professional. I actually asked her if she was looking for a second job and invited her to come apply at my restaurant, because I would love for her to teach some of my other servers, a thing or two, lol. Anyways, I just want to applaud beer barrel on finally hiring some older servers, who have a great work ethic, as well as a great personality. We have never felt so welcomed and satisfied walking out of there I just wanted to make sure this was recognized because as I stated before, I’ve left reviews when I was not satisfied, so again great job beer barrel. I really hope this continues. She’s definitely a keeper and we will be back. Thank you Brandy sweetie you were delightful.

Great food and service, I have never had a bad meal here. There is a nice selection of beers to enjoy with your meal and the bourbon room is fantastic if you can get in.

Fast friendly staff and service. Food didn't take long and was delicious! We had cheese fries and burgers, yum!

Absolutely delicious and amazingly priced perfectly proportion. I got the barbecue bacon burger and it was absolutely delicious my husband got the blue cheeseburger and he loved it.
