Awesome event at a spectacular setting. The people and airplanes are amazing. The location is so unique and awe inspiring. The stark flat huge lake bed appeared tiny when the viability was effectively unlimited and you could see the world disappear over the horizon. We saw so many stars at night, that it was difficult to pick out individual constellations. Visit here if you need a break from the usual experiences of modern life...

My favorite place on the planet. It’s where friends come together once a year to celebrate aviation.

Such a great flyin and they emphasize safety. Great bunch running the radios to keep things safe and for trying to be neighborly to the outlying residents.

Amazing! Best camping trip ever! Great place to fly to. Bring your own tie downs, tent, food, water, everything. About 30 minutes from the nearest gas. (65hp 80kt plane) Lots of other places to land near by even for a non experienced pilot.

Great fly-in. I felt very safe flying in and out. Very well organized with volunteer air traffic controllers at the busiest times. Pilots communicated well in the frequencies provided. Fun seeing all of the different aircraft and great pilots. Super fun all around!!

As a landowner out here by Deadcow, I really appreciate this event! The people that attend are kind and respectful of the landowners and local wildlife. They clean up after themselves and are very good stewards of the lake bed and surrounding area! In my opinion, these folks are all top notch and welcome anytime!

I am a commercial pilot for 20 years experience. High Sierra fly-in was run vary safely as safe as any commercial airport. The air traffic controller‘s were fantastic they were able to get a large number of aircraft in and out safely. The arrival and departure procedures online where easy and practical. I will be back next year.

The best four days of my year! It's run by seasoned profesional pilots and air traffic controllers. Great people, planes, and the fireworks show was phenomenal! It's a "Must Attend" event for me!

The lakebed is smooth, hard, and clean. It makes a perfect airstrip for anything from backcountry STOL aircraft and helicopters through light jets. Keep it clean, always pack out your trash, plus a little more. The occasional flyin activity attracts some of the best and most positive pilots in the area and from around the world.

Hands down the most FUN and SAFE flyin I have ever been to. There is even a “STOLTAM” to highlight the recommended arrival routes to keep it as safe as possible. Stol drags is also a first for me and it is all the greatness I expected it to be!.
