Tonight we took a little train ride and got a visit with Mr and Mrs Claus. Due to unfortunate road delays, a few in our party missed our original departure time. The owners were so accommodating and let them go on the next ride.
A beautiful slow train ride though the woods lit with Christmas displays.. it was beautiful!

This was just the absolute best! We've been wondering for months what this place was all about as it was new to the neighborhood. We'd always been meaning to drop by but this morning, we finally did. And I'm so glad that we did. The owners are the sweetest ever and it is the most charming shop filled with all kinds of local and handmade goods. They have handmade beeswax candles, hand lotions that are clean and pure, and all kinds of thoughtful gifts that are reasonably priced. They even have the most adorable mini train that takes you all over the acreage. The gentleman hand laid those tracks himself and it is a delight for adults and children alike. It's a definite must-see.

We were on our way into Greenville to get cat food and saw this place from the road, and I was like, we gotta come back and check it out. Then came the ad in the Bargain Buyer. The gift shop is like "train station meets country store", as you board the train right outside. The first time we went, I bought my mom some local honey, which she has now gotten me to like. I even went there for my birthday two years ago, which was a fun way to spend the afternoon.

Equally fun are the holiday train rides, in which parts of the track are lit up on either side by fun holiday lights and inflatables. According to an article I read online, "Nobody gets off the train grumpy". I believe it, because I have not one gotten off the train grumpy. They say they're in the happy business? They picked the right business to be in.

Cozy little shop, with lots of goodies. Worth a stop! Enjoy the train ride too!

Had a great time with the grandkids ...found this fun little train ride that looked so tiny but was a great little ride through the woods...they loved it we will be back and it was super affordable.
