I called him and asked him some questions about a gurgling toilet and without hesitation or expectation he gave me some great guidance on how to solve the issue right over the phone. I could tell right away he was a standup guy. I highly recommend dealing with this company, they have good values.

Very responsive, very friendly, very helpful. Had a leaking isolation valve that they resolved very quickly. Worth your time and money. I have every intention of calling them again the next time my old house has a plumbing problem.

Chris was able to have my hot water heater replaced in record time. He guided me by phone to shut off the water and while waiting for the new heater, he drained all the remaining water from the tank. Quick response to an issue we had with our steam boiler. Helped us diagnose the problem and resolve things quickly.

I have a two story house, 1 and 1/2 BA with basement was built in 1953. Last week, a plumber replaced the iron/brass drain and tub overflow with a PVC set in the second floor full bathroom as part of a reno. It took a lot of time, effort, pounding, banging, cutting, and sweat to get the old drain set out, but finally got the job done. A couple of days later, my wife went to the basement to do laundry and said there's water in the basement (thinking it was from the tropical storm that came though over the weekend. Not so. The main iron drain stack in the basement developed a 30 inch crack and that is the source of the water on the floor. Could that have happened from all the banging and pounding at the second floor bathtub work, or is this an unfortunate co-incidence, as the plumber is seeming to suggest? Well, I figured a call to "Ask Ray, the Plumber, for FREE!" was in order. I left a message and Ray responded promptly. He assured me that it's unlikely that the plumber caused the crack because he was working on a branch line that was 2 floors upstairs and that the drain stack is a 70 year-old rusty iron pipe. Thank you, ray for giving me some peace of mind that I was not (at not likely) lied to. Hey, Rhode Island, Ray is the guy to hire! (Now, if he only made house calls to Maryland , , , )

Used ER Plumbing for a heating system repair (burst pipe). Chris called me back promptly after I sent a repair request. Made sure over the phone that things were secure for the evening. He came our the next day to check on the issue. We decided it could wait a day since they had more pressing heating issues with other customers given the recent cold snap. He arrived as promised the next day and did the repair quickly. The price was very fair given the work involved.

Had an issue with my boiler, very prompt response. They were out within the hour and remediated the issue. Highly recommend this company.

My outdoor spigot broke and water was gushing out of it. Had to shut down the entire house's water and needed someone to come fix it immediately. Chris came within the hour, showed me where the shut off valve for the outside water is (hidden under ceiling tiles!!), and came back a day later with the correct equipment to install a new spigot. He also capped some gas line that he saw was not capped correctly while here. Punctual, friendly, fast and professional. I am relieved that I now have a go-to plumber I can call when next I am caught in an emergency situation!

We called this phone number to ask a question, and the owner answered his phone on a Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock. He answered our plumbing problem questions, was very thorough and detailed. He was very pleasant and knowledgeable. Highly recommend this business! What a wonderful service he provides, I wish I could give him a 10*!

I called Ray and he answered at 11:50 pm. I had googled ‘“help with home emergency plumbing” after I had called my local plumbers and couldn’t get a response.

I just want to reiterate that Ray answered a call from an unknown number at 11:50pm and he answered and then asked how he could help!

Although Ray did not physically come to my house and fix the plumbing issues, if I lived closer to his business I would hire him in a heartbeat.

Ray was able to help us in a matter of days after not being able to find someone to repair our A/C. We were without A/C for 10 or so days, most businesses were telling us there would be a several week wait just to have a technician look at it. We spoke to Ray on a Saturday, and we had our A/C repaired by Wednesday.

Emergency response did a great job when I was in a pinch Chris and Ray really took good care of me. I needed a heating system fixed fast and they were able to do the job! I called other companies that we’re going to schedule me at least a month out and these guys were over within days they do great work and are very nice respectful gentleman. I would highly recommend their services!

I own a rental property in Johnston, my tenants called to tell me the heat stopped working, the temp was going to be 18 degrees that night, and it was after 530pm. I know. The panic set in. I called my usual plumber but he didn't have anyone on call. I looked at reviews online to try to find a business who had good reviews and most importantly could come quickly. I called one plumbing company call center and they said they would call me back. I waited 15-20 minutes. No luck. I called Emergency Response Plumbing and Heating and spoke with Ray. He was courteous and said he was the person who would be answering the call and checking out my problem.

I live 35 minutes away from the rental property and Ray is out of Warwick so it wouldn't take him more than 20 minutes to get there. By the time I arrived, Ray had met with my tenant, figured out the problem and waited a few minutes to make sure the problem was fixed before he left

I know if I'm in a pickle again, I know just the business to call. I read some low reviews from other people but all I can say is that ERPH showed up quickly, fixed the problem and were very professional and courteous. They can have my business time and time again. What a saviour and stress relief!

I did a web search for "ask a plumber" and came upon the website for Emergency Response Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning. The website said anyone, anywhere in the US could ask a question and receive a response for free. My non-profit employer was experiencing a plumbing issue for which the Landlord's response seemed inadequate relative to the situation. So I gave it a try and called the number, the plumber who answered was very helpful with his free response and provided good information that assisted our organization in response to the plumbing concern.
