Iron Skillet

Need a hearty breakfast that fills you up, this is the place. There is something for everyone & look at how beautiful those eggs are cooked to perfection. Staff is so friendly, knowledgeable & helpful too. This was one most memorable breakfast feast.

I've been in here a few times but this is my first time since they revamped everything and I really enjoyed everything. Everyone on shift was great, from kitchen to dining room. I could smell the ribeyes from the parking lot and I'm glad I didn't try to resist.

We ordered the double bacon steak burger, kids spaghetti, and chicken fried steak with heavy and mashed potatoes. Absolutely delicious. It was so good the only one with left overs was the kids spaghetti. Portion size is pleasantly larger than we expected. Waitress was friendly, attentive, and great service!

Mary Kathleen is perfect for this job. I have never been in here where I did not see her smiling and making other folks smile :-)
I enjoyed that spirit.
Had the Meat Lovers Omelet with pancakes. That omelet was a lot-elet of food. Very filling.
The price left my wallet lighter though. 14.00 for it, and 3.30 for a cup of coffee. Expensive, but the tradeoff I guess is that without Iron Skillet here allowing drivers to pass some time, life would not lead us to people like Mary Kathleen!

It wasn't much to look at from the outside, but the food was excellent and our waitress was excellent. They handled my dairy allergy very well too.

There was a lot of us that went there and they provided seating for all of us. She had a big order and she did an awesome, in the cook too.

I haven't been to this one in years but it was really nice. The server was great and had a big smile on her face. The food was good also. Normally I just grab something from the deli at fuel station. I wanted to set down today. Glad I did. 😂

Enjoyed a yummy hearty breakfast driving through today!! We selected the Southern Traditional breakfasts (1 with eggs on the side), both delicious. Very good food, sweet service & very fast cooks!

Had great service with a super friendly waitress. Mary was awesome, she took great care of us, never missed a beat. Salad bar was exceptional, super fresh and great selection.

One of the very few truck stop sit down restaurants still open. 7am-10pm. Great to have warm food in your belly.

Lot's of parking, I ordered from the Iron skillet the chicken parm/spaghetti was great but garlic toast was hard like it was from last week. Otherwise I usually enjoy stopping here.

Me and my family decided to try and eat here for our first time. I order and southern bbq, wife order Philly cheese steak sandwich, we both love the sandwich, little pricey for the portions amount, my side was mashed potatoes was one small bowl wife got onion ring, she only got 5 rings, sorry I believe there should be bigger portions of side for the cost it is, but over all great experience, waitress great job, and the sandwich’s was really good just wish had more portion or more side

The iron skillet, food perfection, no other restaurants to compare, to the taste of the food that you will find there! Service next to none! The prices they won't hold you up with the gun! The steak and eggs are still the best.. There used to be standing room only before COVID. I'm just glad they kept the restaurant going when so many have shut down. I hope they can go back to somewhat normal!!!! 😁

Great food! Home cooking. Great salad bar, superb steaks! Good and friendly waitresses. Prices are good.

We haven't been here since before Covid & love it just as much now as back then! The food was amazing & our server made it hard to like anyone BUT her! We were treated like we were the only ones there even though we weren't. We'll definitely be back!

Nice clean and with the neq menu you cant go wrong with the soup and salad bar.

The staff is great.

Delicious, as usual!! We decided at the last minute to go get Easter brunch. We didn't think it was going to be so packed. The buffet bowls were always full, and the waitress was so friendly and she was there with a drink refill before we even took the last sip. We don't go enough, it's always so good and a great price.
