Camp Cris Dobbins (Private Campground)

One of the best BSA camps in Colorado. Beautiful acreage, great, and newly renovated facilities, and the food is top notch with the portion being plentiful. Lots of Merit Badge choices and spirited fun loving staff. This a gotta visit camp for all scouts!

Went camping with my son's Boy Scout troop and it was a nice experience. We stayed in the Fort Garland cabin area in early November. The cabin was heated with about 12 bunk-beds. Very close to the cabins was a newer and heated shower and restroom facility that was very nice. I opted to camp outside and it was verry quiet. Several deer walked through our camp on multiple occasions. Nice place for a weekend.

Scout BSA camp. And one of the best around. Tons of activities, professionally run and clean. For that true scouting experience, this is where to send your son or daughter to camp this summer.

Horseback riding, swimming, boating, shooting sports, and other fun await! Convenient to Denver, Colorado Springs, and Castle Rock scouters.

Currently due to uptick in covid cases, they require masks while indoors to avoid a breakout and keep the camp running.

Google maps lead me about a half mile too far north to an entrance that is now closed. I doubled back and found the correct entrance. Picture of the correct entrance attached.

I really like this summer camp, I did high adventure instead of merit badges and I would highly recommend it. The only problem with this camp is that I'm from Texas and I expected it to be a lot warmer than it was so make sure you bring a jacket.

Very nice summer camp with actual facilities. They have medical facilities and the camp staff are very good at their instruction and their care for the campers. The provided tents are spacious.

I've camp here From tiger cubs all the way to my eagle Scout. I worked here also for 2 years.i worked on the rifle range it was a blast. I would recommend it to troop leaders check this place out for the summer . Your boys will build bonds, knowledge & great memories.

Great Scout camp open to boys and girls. Many new improvements include awesome 300+ people dining hall. Outdoor pool, kayak, STEM, shooting sports and much, much more. Camping made easier with great separate adult showers/bathrooms.

Great Staff,Beatiful Camp Sites and Wonderful Place to learn Scouting Skills

This is the premier Scout Ranch and Camp in all of Colorado. They are spending $7 million dollar on camp renovations and improvements this year. The renovated dining hall and expanded outside eating deck will be great. Our troop is going back this weekend to do trail conservation and annual Spring cleaning.

Awesome camp facility! My troop always has a blast at activities held at this camp.

Absolutely one of the best BSA camps. Part of the BSA's Peaceful Valley Scout Reservation complex. Some 'locals' have issue with the increased traffic they perceived caused by PV.

Beautiful area and views. Camp staff is the greatest, always engaged with the kids. Merit badge selection was second to none.
