If you like the perfect mix of hospitality, welcoming patrons, a bar with a cat for its mascot, a wood burning stove, and patrons who are welcoming music lovers, this is the place to visit. Was made to feel welcome, prices were fair, enjoyed conversing with the owner and various regulars. We found the place here on google , took a guitar , they plugged us in to the bar pa, and we spent the first night taking turns playing songs. It was a blast. It’s definitely worth stopping in for a drink or 10.

Silver Dollar Saloon in Butte, Montana is the true definition of an old school dive bar. Walking into the bar you can just feel and see the tremendous history of Butte as well as many musicians and artists from around the world. It’s dark, perfectly lit for a dive, worn in all the right ways, the beer is cold and the drinks are strong. This bar is an absolute treasure and should be protected. I met with the owner Brian who was kind enough to show me around and give me some historical information about the space. DO NOT MISS this bar when visiting Butte.

I love Paula the bartender! She's a great friend and makes being there fun! Wednesday open Mike night are full of talented musicians....I had a blast!!!!

So much history in this place. The owner was friendly and he is a musician. He recommended the festival in July I believe

Awesome cozy local spot for a beer or mixed drink. Nothing fancy. Usually has live music on Fridays, and open mic on Wednesdays. Always a good time.

Great place, good people. Hearty Drinks,great prices, a lot of jazz, blues and whatever else music comes through there from good local bands.
