Stone Mountain RV Park & Resort - Ruidoso

We had such a great experience staying here and will definitely stay again. The pet friendly environment was perfect for our dog and the location was beautiful and relaxing.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Stone Mountain RV Park, and I must say it exceeded all of our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the friendly owners who made the check-in process seamless and provided us with helpful information about the park and its amenities.

The park itself is nestled in a quiet picturesque location, right off the road heading into Ruidoso.
The RV sites were spacious and offered ample room for maneuvering our vehicle. Each site was equipped with full hook-ups, including water and electricity (both 30 and 50 amp) making it convenient for a comfortable stay. The provision of picnic tables added a touch of charm and encouraged outdoor relaxation and gatherings. It was evident that the management takes great pride in ensuring a clean and inviting environment for its guests.

One of the standout features of Stone Mountain RV Park is that you don’t need to have an RV to stay here. They have beautiful cabins and stationary RVs available for rent.

Furthermore, the location of Stone Mountain RV Park was ideal for exploring the surrounding area. It was conveniently close to Ruidoso where there are so many restaurants and shops that really showcase the rich New Mexican culture. Theres a lake and many hiking and horse riding trails nearby. They even have a mountain coaster that recently opened close by!

The owners of Stone Mountain RV Park were extremely accommodating and attentive to our needs, ensuring a pleasurable and hassle-free experience. Their commitment to customer satisfaction was evident in their prompt responses to any inquiries or requests.

Amazing stay, camp hosts are very welcoming and friendly. We loved the fire pits at each site and the entertaining area was so comfy for everyone.

We stayed all the month of July and we had the best time,,, great young couple that run it, they are also the new owners , they are young and full of service,,, very helpful,, Felipe and Mitchell,,, can’t get no better service,,,,,the camp site is close to every place around Ruidoso ,,, our dogs loved the place,,, if all is good with us,,,, next year we coming back from June to September,,,,you all come join us,,,, Roel and Teresa,,,,

Stayed a month,met all our needs,the young owners went out of their way to make our stay comfortable,no big extra frills to pay for & not use,lovely surroundings,close distance to everything.

My husband and I just spent a week here. Great place. Small park, nice location, pet friendly (even horses) and family friendly. Nice clean laundry and bathroom.
Fun family volley ball game in evenings, but always quiet after 10!
Best of all, very nice people. Very helpful, and friendly.

I seldom write reviews, but in this case I just had to. I've stayed at Stone Mountain RV Park in the past when I've come hunting. Just finished a successful muzzle loader hunt, with my son, and grandson. What a great time, and stay we had there. You won't find a better place. The park has all the amenities you need. The owners Joe & Angela are some of the best people you'll ever meet. In my opinion, if you're coming down to Ruidoso, or in that area, it's the best place to stay!

Owners were so wonderful and made us feel like family. Laid back, safe family atmosphere away from the "sardine can" RV parks closer (and into) Alto and Ruidoso. Loved the full hook ups and reliable WiFi. Will be staying again.

Cozy cozy.. stayed in the small one room , it’s all redone like a little cabin. Tongue and groove walls, wood floor. So peaceful!
