Flying J Ranch

HIGHLY RECOMMEND for a Christmas evening activity. The entire White Mountain Christmas event is worth it. My family of five plus two guests attended Christmas evening, and we all enjoyed our time. They had a little western town setup decorated with Christmas lights and an antique car hayride to take you around the property. There were multiple fire pits to stay warm before the main dinner hall opened. There was a small chapel where they put on two fiddle shows, so authentic and western! There was a very nicely dressed Santa and Mrs. Claus inside a heated shed to take family pics.
We had dinner at 7 pm and the staff was so efficient serving, we didn’t wait at all. The food was delicious, we had beans, brisket or chicken, applesauce and spice cake, a biscuit, and a drink. You can get seconds, if you’d like. They served coffee once everyone sat down.
An hour after dinner, there was a show on the main stage. So worth it if you’re in the area.
If you think you’re going to go, buy tickets early. They sell out fast!

This was our 8th visit to the The Flying J! We’ve been both in the summer and winter. Each time was a great experience. I’m so happy that they are doing Christmas shows. I especially liked the Christmas songs they did this year. It is such a beautiful setting! The food is always delicious and the Wrangler Show is top notch.

Chuck wagon dinner was delicious! The live entertainment was well worth the price of the ticket! Christmas music country style, unexpectedly wonderful.

What an incredible experience!!! Our kids loved, loved, LOVED the Flying J Ranch. They went two shows in row and enjoyed every minute of it! I’m telling you from the second you arrive you are blessed by this immersive experience. This multi generational family owned operation has been making incredible memories for decades. Kids are already begging us to make a trip for the Christmas program. They loved the gunfight, the stories, and dinner and show. THEN the gift shops have so many cool things for kids. We just got back to Missouri and they have been practicing their new lasso skills on our dog!!! Great time!!!

So much fun! It was so cool! Definitely worth it! We took my three daughters ages 2,5 and 8. Everyone of them had a blast! The Sherril was awesome, the food was great, the boy who gave pony rides was great! Everyone was just perfect. The only feed back is more kid friendly food but it was fine! They ate the rolls and apple sauce. The adults loved it! The kids loved it! So authentic and exactly what we wanted to experience. Thank you!

We had such a great time! The kids enjoyed exploring, dinner was great!!!! I would suggest bringing a cushion or blanket to sit on if you want to stay for the entire Flying J Wranglers show, which you will definitely want to, but your bottom may not!!!

A great Christmas experience! Everyone was very friendly, the area was beautiful, and the food was delicious. The dinner went very smoothly -they've got it down to a science. My husband is vegetarian, and he was just planning on eating the sides. But they noticed right away that he didn't take any meat and asked if he would like a veggie option and then they were quick to provide it. The music was wonderful. They are all very talented. My husband's favorite part of the night, however, might have been the very cute, friendly cat he met on the grounds. So sweet!

This was fun for my 2 year old up to my mom's age at 70! The horse rides were fun and the grounds are beautiful! It was a relaxing and good time. Their voices were beautiful, especially Emily's! Their family is so sweet.

This is a family-friendly adventure. The food will not disappoint. Staff is very nice. Shout out to Ashley, who showed me how they make tube sock coffee.

I had the pleasure of officiating my friends' wedding here. From start to finish they were absolutely amazing to work with - so friendly, so helpful, they truly went above and beyond to ensure their special day went off without a hitch. The setting is just absolutely gorgeous, and fun too! The old western boardwalk is really cute. The dinner they prepared was incredible as well. Just all around, it was absolutely perfect. I can't speak highly enough of this place.

Took my family, and the place is great. They have a small town with some activities for the kids and souvenir shops. The gun fight is more entertaining than an actual reenactment. After that there is the food, which was surprisingly good, actually it was amazing.

The whole staff is extremely friendly warm and welcoming.

The show is very good, there was nothing but smiles everywhere.

Second time visiting for the White Mountain Christmas and it never disappoint. Food is delicious! Highly recommend to spend an evening with the family and friends.

Beautiful place to visit with family, we spent an amazing and relaxing evening there. Owners and employees were very attentive and great musicians, dinner was very good as well. We will definitely come back again.

A fun family experience! Kids loved the horse rides and deputy training. Adults loved the little shops. To top it off the food was delicious. Next time we're in New Mexico, we will be stopping here again.

I want to thank you for your hospitality and good vibes. Everything was magical and perfect. I hope to return in the future. A unique and original experience that reminds us to enjoy life with our loved ones.

So much fun! They made us feel like family. The food was very good and plentiful. The show was amazing. The 'village' Christmas decorations were beautiful.

This was such an amazing way to spend the evening. We had a group of about 35, and they really know how to make groups feel welcome. The show was fun, there were fun activities for kids, and the food was delicious. I would definitely come back here.

When I was at Ft.Bliss in 2009 our unit attended the Flying J Ranch for dinner right before we deployed. It was a GREAT night! I plan on taking my family there in the near future.

First time at the Flying J Ranch for the Christmas Special. The atmosphere, lights, food was all very good. The singing and stage show was wonderful. Don't miss out on one of the Christmas shows.

This place was just a blast! I guarantee that it will be the most peaceful AND entertaining 5hrs you can have with your family! You can't help feeling at ease here... The staff is AMAZING, talented, hilarious and just so damn inviting and their site is beautifully picturesque that even my surly 14yo smiled and had a good time! We definitely left with full bellies, warm hearts and lighter spirits! We will be back the next time we are in NM!!!
