Totally worth going off our road trip route for this place. Came based on reviews and so glad we did! My sandwich was absolutely delicious and the rest of my family loved theirs just as much. My boys ordered the cream of mushroom soup and all they could say was “mmmmm”, the whole time they sipped it. The service was extraordinary and we were super impressed with the gals who work there. Will definitely be back if ever in the area!

YES PLEASE to this little beaut of a restaurant. I love everything about this place and have dreamt about it ever since going there. The waft of freshly baked bread when you walk in, the sassy, adorable, spunky gals running the place, the humongous, deliciously thoughtful sandwiches, the decor, the playlist, the spa water. Shall I continue? Don’t sleep on this little gem. Bring an appetite, share a sandwich, or take half of it to-go, but it’ll be one of the best lunches of your life.

Wonderful food and the owner and staff were fantastic. The sandwiches are HUGE, even the kids grilled cheese was giant. My husband and I each had a sandwich and salad plus a cup of soup. Our kids got the grilled cheese plate and snack plate. All restaurants should seriously offer snack plates on kids menus. Everything we had was great and we would definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the area.

Best soup and sandwich ever! The sandwich was HUGE and my 12 year old, who dislikes everything but spaghetti and nuggets, went back for a second bowl of their Hungarian Mushroom soup!

Stopped in on our road trip out west! Was SO thrilled to have some delicious fresh food options after hours of only fast food, bars, etc. I had the most delicious salad that perked me up and we also ordered a delish decked out grilled cheese on fresh bread! The inside is super cute. I’d be happy to spend a morning in there reading. 10/10 recommend! Also very reasonably priced.

The service here was excellent, and the sandwiches were absolutely delicious. Not to mention the portions, I'm 6'3" 230lb... I eat a lot, I had the "Crazy" for lunch and a cup of their delicious loaded baked potato soup after having had nothing for breakfast and I was quite full. The ingredients were all fresh, and nothing here seemed to have that "pre-made Cisco bulk food delivery" blandly prepared taste. Truly a great choice for an enjoyable (and filling!) lunch.

I've been back many times since the first part of this review was written and can confirm, that it's still just as awesome!

The sandwiches are always prepared fresh, and the service is absolutely wonderful, provided by friendly helpful people. I definitely count North 46 amongst my very favorite sandwich shops in all of my travels, so lucky that it happens to be so close to home!

Visiting from out of town. Absoltuley amazing sandwiches. Their bread is all made fresh in house. Huge portions. Really recommend.

This sandwich shop is one of the best I've ever been to. After a 5 hours of driving and getting hangry, stopping here made everything better. The bread is absolutely amazing and melts in your mouth. We got the crazy sandwich and a fancy grilled cheese. Both hot and cold these sandwiches are to do for.

Excellent sandwiches on thick sliced fresh bread. Really enjoyed my Ruby. Although my wife thought her grilled cheese was so thick it really didn't warm through. Still would definitely recommend.

My favorite lunch spot ever. Seriously, I live in Denver and dream of getting to Montana to eat here. Truly exceptional soup and sandwiches.

This is a pretty damn good sandwich spot. Bread is fresh and massive, apparently made in-house. The sandwiches are huge and well-balanced, and the soup is phenomenal. It's a small menu of sandwiches, salads, and a soup of the day, but everything is fresh and elicits a quality over quantity mentality.

Super awesome! Was here for the Montana Folk Festival (working) and they went above and beyond to get me fed before show times. And l know they were slammed with everybody else at the festival too. Food was delicious!! Best breakfast bar I've ever had, awesome sandwiches, hope to be back soon!

One of my favorite soup/salad/sandwich shops in town. When people come through Butte this is one of my recommendations. My favorite menu item is usually the soup. It is handmade and PACKED with delicious flavor. The soup is rotating so you get a different one depending on when you go. My favorites are the Hungarian mushroom and vegetable curry. It can get busy around lunch time during the week but it is worth it if you have the time.
