First Montana Bank

I have been with this bank for over 18 years. I always get excellent service. This bank has great employees who are always extremely kind. I will not ever change banks. I recommend the bank. I always get great service! My husband and I have several accounts with them. I recently lost my debt card. I called the bank, explained my situation, and the flagged my account and canceled that card. The next day, I was able to walk in the bank. My new card was waiting for me. They are so great!

What an amazing bank! As a landlord in town with a few properties- I originally went with a competing Butte bank years ago.

I was very lucky to meet Ryan a while ago--- and just recently purchased a bar/restaurant/motel with a Commercial Loan through him with First Montana Bank. Holey Cow he's great at what he does!

Everything was VERY smooth, I knew all details throughout the process, even though the liquor license, etc... complicated our deal. I'm extremely pleased with these guys.

We've since opened business checking, personal checking,, personal savings, and refinanced a couple properties over from the other bank- over to First Montana Bank. Their great service won us over. The whole process of getting financing can be frustrating, full of obscure paperwork and language. Ryan Nielsen and his team to an outstanding job of making the process simple, offering council and guidance, and really streamline the whole process. I would recommend them to any small business or person in need of capital.

These guys are great at what they do! We enjoy every interaction... Requests are promptly taken care of and they know everyone by name, every time. Very pleasant to work with.

As a bank, they are great. However, if you are not a fan of dogs, they have two small dogs in the lobby that they allow to run up and bark at you when you enter. They should be aware that not everyone loves dogs. Some people have been bitten by dogs and don’t appreciate this. Sure, bring your dogs to work, but letting them bother every customer when they enter is bad for business. I needed to return again for something else today but I’ll go elsewhere where I don’t have to deal with dogs.

I had a terrible experience with this bank when buying my first home. The communication was awful, I felt like the least important person to them as I was going through the biggest event in my life so far. They dropped the ball so many times, I would never recommend this place, in fact, I tell everyone to NOT use this bank. Go to a credit union, make sure you have a lender that will pick up the phone and make you feel like a human.
