Axelson Funeral & Cremation Services

My uncle made it clear before he died that he wanted Axelson to handle his cremation, so, when he passed away we contacted Brie immediately. From day one she was kind, compassionate and professional. She even navigated some family-based tensions between my sister and me. Because I live out-of-state, she was able to get the death certificates before I left to go home so I could begin settling his estate. We were able to have visitation but had to delay his memorial service because of Covid. We finally held his service over Labor Day weekend and she handled everything! When we would mention the family doing something, she would say, "Why are you doing that? That's what I'm here for," and then she would do it. The service was short and simple and perfect. As a business I know they're not perfect, but they were perfect for us. Heartfelt thanks to Brie and her entire staff for their help and comfort.

The primary staff member who handled our situation, Haley, was incredibly good at keeping us in the loop, organized, thoughtful, and supportive. When other staff, including the owners, had to step in, we were impressed with their kindness and thoroughness as well. We highly recommend their services.

Losing a family member is unimaginable, but thanks to the wonderful help of BriAnne we were able to navigate the grieving process and find solace. I can recommend no higher professional in this field. Her kindness and heartfelt condolences helped to comfort me and my family in one of our darkest times. Not only did she help us understand all the processes, but she made sure our final wishes were met 110%.

Hailey did a great job. She was very compassionate and helpful. We were so grateful for all of her hard work.

The support and comfort of the staff was so much appreciated during the preparation of my mom’s service. For her service they made extra efforts to pay attention to every detail. If there were more than 5 stars I would give them to Bri and her staff.

Bri and her staff were amazing. Every last detail was perfect, and the support provided to the family at such a difficult time was more than I could have asked for. I appreciate it from the bottom of my heart.

I just want to put it out there that Bre at Axelsons Funeral home was by far the best .when my mom passed we knew she wanted to be cremated We chose Axelsons. We were more than pleased. Many people that attended her funeral could not believe that Bre went over and beyond anyone we knew of in this profession. Our mom's funeral was beautiful.We still talk about Bre and her staff. A few people that have passed since,had Bre also,because they couldn't believe what a great job she did. If a funeral can be beautiful Bre will do it. Axleson services handled my mother's funeral today. Everything was absolutely perfect. Bri and staff were completely professional. Five stars

couldn't ask for a better experience for such a sad and difficult time. we were treated well and the whole process due to Brianne and everyone who works there. the memorial video turned out beautiful. I would definitely use them again.

When my Dad passed away we received the most care and compassion. Bri and her team were attentive to detail and understanding in a difficult situation.

I think they were very professional very kind. Kept me well informed on all the paper work that I needed . The obituary and the cremation went smoothly. I have no complaints.

Axelson and 406 pet crematory were compassionate and professional with my sweet old dog. I would recommend to anyone.

This was the most discouraging, heartbreaking experience my family has endured. The lack of care and compassion at Axelson’s was staggering. I understand that they have a very difficult job and deal with many personality types on a daily basis but they are also tasked with a paramount role in society. An extremely sacred role.

Bri and her staff should realize that it’s not an everyday event for people. Families are there to ensure that our loved ones are treated with the highest regard of dignity and respect as this is the last act we will be able to perform for a beloved Spouse, Father, Son, Brother and Friend.

During his lifetime, my Brother was known for his immense faith, integrity and honor. He was also known for his humble, gentle disposition and love of family. He gave 100% in all aspects of his life. He was charitable and hospitable to anyone that ever needed a hand- day or night. He should have been treated as such. Anyone who enters Axelson’s doors should be treated as such. If you can’t do that- you’re in the wrong profession.

This was our first and last experience with Cremation and Axelson’s Funeral Home. We will never entrust a loved one to the care of Bri and her staff again. I’m shocked at the lack of empathy that my family received.

I don’t normally write many reviews but I can safely say that my Brother definitely would’ve spoken up without hesitation to warn others of any potential for injustice so that they may take extra precautions for their loved ones at such critical times. This review is my last interaction with Axelson’s Funeral and Cremation on behalf of my amazing Brother. May he Rest In Peace. 💚 ☘

Reposting as it appears to have been removed from the website…. Makes you wonder how many other reviews get removed when the ugly truth is shared. Absolutely shameful!

DO NOT trust this funeral home. You many NEVER see your family member again. When my grand daughter passed away we were obviously in a state of shock and didn't take enough time to find a compassionate place for our poor dear grand daughter. My daughter gave this funeral home her address to have cremation remains sent to and almost 3 months later we are still waiting. Today I got an insulting call from the front desk receptionist stating they will NOT be sending us our own grand child's remains. PLEASE, take your beloved family elsewhere. We can't even have a proper funeral because these awful people are holding our grand babies remains hostage. We are unfortunately going to have to file charged against them in order to get our grand child's ashes with our family. And, to top it off, when my grand babies other Grandmother called this funeral home Ashely threatened to call the police on her. Unbelievable treatment from a place that claims to care about closure and family.

I was not impressed at all. First appointment went well but after that not at all. I contacted them a couple of times asking them to fix the error in the obituary they never did. They said they would call when my dad was cremated and never did. I had to call and find out if they had his remains ready yet only to find out he had been ready for us to pick up early last week. I feel as if they were holding him hostage from his family. I don't recommend them at all.
