El Taco

Love this place. It has been around for a long time and is still as fantastic as it always has been. I could eat here every day.

Every item is excellent. My fave are the spicy spuds with cheese. Nachos Supreme are amazing too.

It's a great place to bring the kids.
They've shortened their hours, So make sure you find out when they're open. I hope they go back to full time!!

It's one of our fave places to go in town for a quick and cheap bite to eat. The food always turns out great. I recommend the spuds and cheese. I have to add that their chicken strips are insanely huge and my kiddos favorite!

They have awesome taco burgers, and their spicy spuds and Nacho Chesse are so good

Such good service I had to review! The lady at the counter this late afternoon was genuinely pleasant. She was also accurate and efficient! Was excited to get home and find my entire order was exactly as I asked. Food was great and it was hot when I got home. Did I mention that they haven't raised their prices to ludicrous levels? I gotta say... The big chain fast food restaurants could learn a thing or two from this local establishment. Thanks El Taco!

Hours are very limited and now close at 4pm so it puts a damper on availability. Other than that the service was great and the food was very delicious. Just loved the chicken quesadilla topped!

i love its originality! Some of the same employees have been there for years and its nice to see familiar faces. Plus even though dining inn is a little chilly, it still feels like im in mexico :)

I love this place back in the '70s I hope they aren't trying to run into the ground all the wheelers are great guys I just miss getting a couple of soft shells and spicy spuds with cheese sitting in the garage in the 88 Cent Store watching the drag

This place is a Butte original and a staple of the locals. It is not supposed to be "authentic" so don't think it's south of the border. Enjoy this place for its employees and the food they put out. It's an experience that you won't regret and I hope that the stuck up "foodies" don't drown in their own praises to put down unique food that doesn't match their uppity mindset. Eat some El Taco and enjoy it!

Despite looking basic the tacos were pretty damg good. I don't know what they use for beans but I can safely say I enjoyed them despite hating them, prices were surprisingly lower than expected too.

El Taco s same food as you can get anywhere else but with higher standards of what they put in it. The cheese is graded everyday the lettuce is constantly fresh and clean and they soak it to make sure it's clean the tomatoes are cut every day all the hard shell stuff is made every day from the nachos to the taco to the Christos to the apple crisp. Their chicken strips are the best I have ever tasted from anywhere. I think they have so many choices and you can tailor your food to your taste.

Great Old Town Place. Menu has lots of choices. Price is reasonable and staff is very polite.. good tasting food and they'll spice it up if you ask.

This is my favorite place to eat in Butte. Not because everywhere else is bad but because this place is just so simple and still good, all the while being cheap. If I'm in Butte I am eating here at least once guaranteed.

Great food and great service! You can't go wrong with this place! Their Apple crisp is one of my most favorite items on the menu.

I think the food here is great. The tocoloda is one of my favorites. There is a separate take out area, where can order and stay warm.
