Mario's Pizza

Fabulous. I watched as this great team delivered pizza after pizza tonight. They work together like a well oiled machine. This is a family run business who engages with the everyone like their family. It's the epitamy of Berryville's wonderful family centric high quality restaurant scene. My favorite is the Mario's Special Stromboli. My kids love the pepperoni pizza. It's always quick and good! Tonight our order was ready in 17 minutes from the time of the call and it was a Friday night!!!

It was a long day. We had torrential rains all day. I picked my father up because he was in a car accident. Took over two hours to get to him in Stanton,VA. We passed through Berryville on the way home to Leesburg and I called to ordered a pizza.
The owner didn’t know our back story and chose to still take my order over the phone. (I didn’t realize they were closed)
He could have told me he was closed. We got there and lights were out in the dining area but he was waiting for us.
We were hungry and wet and I just needed a slice before getting back on the road. He took care of us. We needed that 25 minutes.
I’m sure he was tired and the kitchen staff left for the evening.
Just want to thank him. A lot of things could have gone differently today.
THIS was just what we needed.

Best Wedding soup! Chicken parmesan was spot on! Fresh and delicious ingredients! Great staff! Absolutely will return.

I've been a few times now. Laid back atmosphere. Seat yourself. Food has been straight forward and consistent. Service has been great. Attentive without pestering. Shall definitely keep going.

We had a family Christmas dinner at Mario's today The food was good, the service was great, and the place was nice and clean.

Mostly with friends on motorcycle rides (great parking out back), I have been stopping in here for years, . The staff is friendly and the place is basic and clean. I usually have a sub and sometimes a salad. All have been tasty and a good portion. On my stop last week, I had a sausage sub with peppers and onions. The portion of sausage, cheese and filling was generous to the point of spilling out while I ate it. It will continue to be a place a frequent.

Let me start off by saying this is the first time we have eaten here in 7 years. We lived close by and always drove to eat here. We moved 7 years ago and we just made it back to the area. WELL THEY DID NOT MISS A BEAT! We were in town for the monster truck show and said we were not leaving town until we had Mario's. The food is absolutely amazing! The fresh ingredients they use yummy! Still awesome prices and very friendly staff. The portions are more then we can eat. We will be back!

Came in at 9:10 just after Saturday closing and were welcomed in! Best homemade crust pizza served with friendly service- order the " Special "!

Has great pizza, salads, and Stromboli. They have a great selection of appetizers. The staff is very friendly and the food is very delicious. The seating is nice and the food came out very quick. Parking can be some what difficult at times

I’m so sorry we just found this place. It is by far the best calzone I have every had. The filling goes all the way to the edge, so your first bite isn’t all crust. Their spaghetti with meat sauce is very flavorful and my husband raves about their pizza. Highly recommend and so glad we have found them.

We moved into the area a year ago. As we were moving into and unpacking in our new home, Mario's was our go to spot for a quick meal. Everything we had there was amazing. We have a close family friend who is a food as his early career was a food salesman for high end restaurants, and he raved over the good quality of cheese they use. Mario's is always are go to for an amazing pizza.

Taste of the northeast. I love the wings. I order them so often they know my voice and before I order they get the wings in the fryer for me haha. Staff are great, locations great, and the food is great.

Marios is always amazing food and great service. I have yet to have anything not great here.

My husband & I visited Mario’s for the first time on Friday August 13th. Upon entering the place we noticed right away the place was very clean & busy. We sat ourselves as the sign indicated & waited for our waitress to come over. We were only at our table less than 5 minutes when our waitress, Tamara, came by with menus & took our initial drink order. The menu had quite a lot of choices for meals & appetizers. Everything on there was decently priced. We place our order after Tamara brought our drinks back. We ordered the fried mushrooms for our appetizer, the meatball & cheeseburger subs for our entrees along with a tossed & Greek salads. The mushrooms were hot & delicious. Then our salads & subs came out not too long afterwards. The size of the salads were great & the topping were in abundance. My husband’s meatball sub looked very appetizing & he commented on how the bread was not soggy from the marinara sauce. A huge plus in our book. My cheeseburger sub was very delicious as well. Tamara made sure to come back occasionally to see how we were doing & because of her excellent customer service she received a generous tip. And because of the outstanding customer service, delicious food & cleanliness of the restaurant , we will definitely be back for more.

This was our first time eating here and the pizza was fantastic! We ordered a medium pizza, half meat lovers and half pepperoni. We loved every bite. The service was also top notch. I would recommend eating here to anyone and I look forward to returning in the future.

The 4.6 stars (time of writing) is a great reflection of this restaurant.

The staff were quite friendly and welcoming. Easy five stars.

We've tried the subs and the pizza at this place thus far. Both were not the best we'd had in either category ever but were easily in the four star category and a huge leap above your standard chain pizza.

Well worth a visit, or several...

Went out to go get sushi and ramen, and fortunately the ramen shop was packed, so our group of seven headed over to Mario's.

Some of us got the spaghetti, a few others got the subs (which were mammoth, that steak and cheese looked good), also heard the chicken wings were very good. But after a bit of pondering and under a bit of pressure (a lot of choices on that menu) I decided on the Sicilian Pizza.

It was great. You can distinctly taste the elements in the sauce, and the freshness of the dough that makes the crust. I would challenge you to say that you couldn't discern the herbs in the house made pizza sauce. The crust was crispy on the outside and soft and yielding in the middle. I wondered if you would have the same experience with the Neopolitan pizza, as the crust is thinner and crispy. Maybe next time.

It was HUGE. Definitely enough to share with the family and have plenty of leftovers. Enjoy!
