Commonwealth Senior Living at Berryville

It’s only been a week since I’ve moved my mother here but first thing she said to me today was she has friends.
The staff and guest have been so kind to her.
They keep her busy with activities, trips and exercise on her level.
We looked at many assisted living places and I’m 100% sure we made the best choice.

My first visit with my friend since she moved in. Very impressed by the facility and the staff. Clean and comfortable and numerous employees showed their knowledge and concern for my friend and her comfort. Things such as letting her know they knew she was not a fan of the shrimp being served for lunch today so would fix her a turkey sandwich instead, if that was what she’d like. One of several examples of personal attention that I saw.

As a podiatrist for 28 years, I have been to hundreds of facilities. Commonwealth of Berryville is one of best facilities that I have the pleasure to working at. Helpful and friendly staff and happy residents, means the staff truly care for their residents.

Went there for a interview, staff was very welcoming, residents were clean, happy and healthy. Although I didn't get the job the Executive Director and staff supervisor Dana were very nice and covered the full basis of the job.
The job was offered to me but due to other factors I was unable to accept the position at the time.
Great environment for seniors.

My grandmother is a current resident here They take fabulous care of her. The facility is beautiful, clean and staff is extremely friendly. I love that they do so many activities with the residents and go on many outings. All of the residents seem very happy and cared for. The facility feels like a giant home, The bedrooms are beautiful.. formal dining setting for each meal and my grandmother loves the food They can even have wine with dinner if they choose. Highly recommend this place.

Excellent. A friendly, happy place to call home. The activities, care, and cleanliness are top notch. The staff is friendly, positive, and professional. Our grandfather is very happy and we are pleased to know he is safe, has friendship, and is well cared for.

Shelby is superior at providing all the prep work to moving in, including listening so closely to preferences that she had donuts in my uncle’s room when he arrived.
Dawn was the greatest greeter, walking with us, suggesting a sweet tea to drink, keeping us informed of all paperwork and all around helpful.
Kay is just loving on everyone - she just makes you feel like you’ve known her for years and she’s your best friend.
Brooke share enough to be honest and skips the details that aren’t necessary - she just dives in, helps my uncle and tells me the best highlights.
Stacy communicates honestly and carefully to be sure we understand all health issues and paths forward.
All of these folks bend over backwards!!

Very caring, dedicated administration and staff. They treat my mother with respect. Very organized and planned activities in memory care which she may choose to take part in.

My mother has been at Commonwealth - Berryville for nearly 3 years, and our family is so blessed to have her there in the comfort and security of a staff that not only cares for her, but genuinely loves her. Now 95 1/2 years old, as her needs have changed, their care has increased, even through the challenging times of Covid. A huge shout out of acknowledgement and appreciation to Genoa, Dawn, Emily, and to Brenda (the director), who not only care for my mom, but have loved and cared for me in the process of her aging. Even the kitchen staff and nurse techs are so kind and loving. The facility itself feels like a home, not an institution, and even through quarantine, we were able to visit with my mom through the 2 large screened in porches on the front of the building. So grateful for her to spend her senior years here!

Located in Berryville, VA; this debit living facility is outstanding in terms of the surrounding location and the size of the facility and if course the passing area for visiting. In addition, the buildings are modern with amenities for senior living residents. The staff is very friendly and helpful and very observing of the residents needs. Ideally, the staff's ideology or core values about caring for people, being passionate and having fun in the working environment of their choice - speaks of volumes of how well the residents are going to be treated and the respect they have for the residents. If you're thinking about having a loved one live here, I recommend paying a visit to see for yourself this facility provides to those already residing here.

I love this place. Always clean organized. Employees are nice and helpful. Love that they have so many activities to keep my best friend busy. The location is great. Highly recommend commonwealth!!

Before finding Commonwralth Senior Living in Berryville, VA for my mother-in-law, the whole family was under a lot of stress due to her illnesses. She was just so hateful, since we have placed her in berryville commonwealth senior living, it has been a blessing. She is so satisfied and in good hands everyone of us (including her) gets rest They always have something going on to keep her busy and she enjoys the friends that she has made. They are so loving and compassionate to her and all the residents there. What a great place. Thank each and everyone who works there for all you do!

I arrived during an ice cream social and everyone really enjoyed the treat and being out in the sunshine. The staff is amazing!
