Wonderful well stocked train hobby and toy shop. Family owned and operated, the owners were helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. The setting is noteworthy. A small quaint southern town with a very nostalgic and well maintained Main St. Amtrak runs right through this little town and rubbled through while we were there. Nice store, great folks and a sweet nostalgic southern small town setting. Perfect!

This is a wonderful hobby shop packed to the brim with anything and everything related to model trains. From the very advanced, modern, and expensive train pieces, to older, simple and more affordable, they have it all. They have a vast selection of decorative additions to your build, as well as unique model buildings to enjoy. I was impressed by the scale model "pedestrians climbing stairs" pack, idk why but that stood out to me haha. Very kind staff, I had questions about the pricing on certain engines, and they had a lot of information ready to share with me. I learned a lot during my visit. They also have toys, board games, and fun things like cap guns, and cap cannons! Would recommend to any hobby enthusiast or passersby.

Tiny Tim's is such a unique place. We have been a few times and it's always cool to just walk around checking everything out. Its pretty packed with all kinds of cool toys. My kids just love the place. We don't do model trains, but if you are they have just shelves and shelves of trains. I never knew there were so many different kinds. It's located downtown Ashland right near the train station. We always love the area, it kind of seems like you're in the Twilight Zone episode where you go back in time. Lots of nostalgia. It's well worth your time to stop in and check this place out. They definitely we'll have some sort of toy or cool item that you would want to bring home. It's a great local place and definitely needs to be supported!

We went to the train show today with our grandsons. We picked up the neatest wooden train set for the boys. Very nice people and this piece was cheaper than online. We will go visit their store very soon!

They’re the sweetest ! We had the class “pet” this weekend and the owner strapped him to the train and made it such a special experience for him! Thank you Tiny Tim’s!

I came here in search of stocking stuffers for my grandchildren. I was not disappointed; they had a nice selection of fun, unusual or educational items. If I was into trains, this would definitely be where I'd shop for accessories. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Neat small business in a great location. Went looking for a ready to run set for my 10 year old son who caught the hobby bug after seeing the annual model train exhibit at the VA Science Museum. We go almost every year as a family and he finally wanted to get a set. So after some positive feedback from the exhibitors took a day trip to check it out. Great selection and the set he wanted was less than if I had bought it online direct. Ended up using that savings to get another car for his train. Go and support our small businesses and check them out if you want anything model railroad related. Excited to see what adventures he goes on as we start on this journey!

Awesome model train store in a fantastic location. Definitely more focused on bigger scales, but something for everyone including kids! Place is packed from floor to ceiling with trains so look everywhere you can! Prices were a little high, but worth it to support a local hobby store

Really cute store. Good selection of HO and O Gage trains and accessories along with other toys. It feels like a toystore from the mid 20th century which is neat. A bit overpriced though.

This is a great place. The staff and very friendly and most importantly helpful. They have an obvious passion for what they do and they want to make sure they address your needs not their own. My first experience in this store was very positive. I will definitely be coming back for all my model train needs.

Tiny Tim's Toys is a great! Suzanne, Sonja, and Russell are very friendly and knowledgeable about model railroading. They have been a big help in assisting me with all of my needs in the designing of my layout. Their selection of O-scale is vast and I find something new there every time I go to the store.

Plus the store is located right next to the mainline so you're guarantee to see a train. Its a railfans paradise!
