Mackintosh Fruit Farm

$2 fee per person for pick your own. It was a fun experience and there were both fruits and vegetables to pick. Visited in late Aug and there were apples, peaches, pears, blueberries, and a good number of vegetables. Prices seemed reasonable.

We were looking for something a little different so we came out this way. While I am a little bummed they didn't do a bulk discount for picking your own, I was surprised by some of the varieties I saw.
Honestly I never understood how some places stayed in business charging so little. Apples for 2.99 a lb isn't bad.
The pick your own vegetable garden was neat as well. We just didn't find anything to pick our picky eater would eat!
Their apple cider donuts are tasty. If you live near here it's worth checking out.
I also saw a bird nest which was really neat!

Very nice people and organized farm. Nice experience for kids. We had to wait for the ladder to pick fruit as most lower branches had no fruit but it took us like 15 -20 min to get a ladder. Cherries were sweet, $25/bucket.

We went on a Sunday but, I suggest going on a Saturday as most people will pick fruit on Sat and little will remain for Sundays.

Rows upon rows upon rows of fruit to pick. The orchards never disappoint. We got honeycrisps that were unlike anything you find at the grocery stores, plus a few varieties we'd never heard of. They provided fruit pickers too, so you could get high-up fruit. Carts were available for anyone who needed, and containers if you didn't bring your own. We picked peaches earlier in the year too. The market is cute, modest, and reliable for gift pantry items like jams, spreads, honey, syrups, and baked goods. Dairy and meat products also available, all sourced locally! The hot cider was a nice treat on top of a fully delightful fall morning.

Maybe it's just the kid in me but I loved it here! Apple Picking is super fun guys. Bring your family and kids. Trust me. I love Fuji apples like the next person but their Ever Crisps and Golden Delicious are exactly how they sound; ever so delicious 😋 haha!! We also walked through the veggies and picked some Kale greens and basil. I can't wait to get home and put them in a pot of turkey necks like for real. After you are done, visit their kitchen. They also farm and process their own dairy and beef here. Amazing right! Imagine a fresh double quarter pounder cheese burger with fresh lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and onions. I don't even like pickles but it was so fresh it seemed like it had a little spice hint in it and it was perfect. Believe me, you want this. I CANNOT forget their Basil Lemonade. Yes I said Basil Lemonade. It was super tasty and sweet and not too tart. I do recommend this place. I'll post pics.

Free timed entry tickets to pick apples and pumpkins ensure you're easily able to socially distance. We saw most people respectfully wearing masks.
The farm has a great little market with a lot of choices for lunch and many picnic tables to enjoy it at. Our family will definitely be back.

They have entry fee of 2$ per person and pay per pound which make sense for people who want less. Friendly staff and they have variety of fruit trees and it was fun experience

Awesome Farm for picking some fresh fruits. We had a great time picking our fresh peaches and apple from the trees. Parking spaces available on site.

Excellent choice if looking for a relaxing weekend, fresh fruits, veg and eggs plus a cozy cafe.

Took my Grandchildren for fruit picking. They sell homemade goods from the farm. It's beautiful. I think they offer brunch on the weekend. 🍊🍎🍋🍏🍑Great place for Young and old. We had a nice time. It's located about a mile off of Rt. 7

Easy to sign up for a timeslot and pick apples/veggies while still social distancing.

Excellent food at the shop. The zucchini pizza was a surprise standout, and the apple panini was fantastic. Also, get the butternut squash soup to-go, so you can have it at home

So much fun!! Great apples, got an acorn squash (but lots to choose from) and some pie. Had a flight of cider in the Cider Room - so much fun!! Nice sandwich and wonderful staff. Did I mention apple cider donut? Yum! Great way to spend an afternoon!!

So pretty! We went fairly late in the season for apple picking but they still have so many apples! We loved the Fuji and evercrisp!

Fresh pick your own fruits and vegetables, right now berries and yellow peaches. A decent restaurant for a quick bite and store to pick some extra veggies if you needs.

One of our favorite places for picking fresh apples. The breakfast burrito is outstanding 👌.

We just love this place. It’s so beautiful with lots of variety! The prices are fair & everything is clearly marked. There is a small play area for the kids, the kitchen serves yummy food, & the market has lots to offer. If you sign up for the newsletter, you get early info on PYO, which has been such a hit for our kids in the past. HIGHLY recommend!!

It's a short hop off Route 7 and worth it. Got some great apples today and wonderful cider and donuts.

Berryville holds a special place in my heart after venturing to Mackintosh Fruit Farm for end of the season peach picking . Upon arrival I was checking out the grocery section of the farm while waiting for my friend to park the car. Ended up having an insightful and filling conversation with one of the local girls that worked there . She answered my questions with such enthusiasm I was ecstatic to start my food hunt. The peaches were plentiful , perfectly ripe for picking , eating , and eventually canning. It was very hot out but worth every drop of sweat for those sweet juicy fleshy stone fruits. There was still a healthy selection of mackintosh apples, and honeycrip !
My partner in crime ESA doggie and I were surprised and happily taken aback by the variety of vegetables that were available when we made our rounds to the back of the farm . Baby eggplant dotted the rows, along with green and jalapeño peppers, and even green tomatoes ! Honestly the best farm I’ve been too so far with pricing , atmosphere , abundance of fruits and veggies and location .

Great place to pick fruit. Also they have really good cider and treats. Even got a playground and a family area. No matter the weather it's a great place to go.
