World Market & Cafe

I went 2 days ago with my friend and the place was packed. We had to wait for a parking spot. It was my first time here, my friend had been several times. My friend is Vietnamese, and I'm Black Hispanic. The main reason I wanted to come here is because my friend told me the place carried a lot of Puerto Rican fruits I like. When I was entering the supermarket, a child was at the door, and they happened to come out for whatever reason, but they politely held the door for my friend and I, and I told the child thank you. I walked around the store, and everyone I came across was polite and friendly even during checkout. Even when I asked a customer a question, he was helpful. It's like every culture. There are good people and people who are stuck in their old ways. I had a good experience. Tried some new things and they were really good. When I visit my friend again in Miami, I will definitely come here again.

Amazing selection. I wish I had a bigger refrigerator.

Very good variety of fruits and vegetables sold by weight. Reasonable prices. Large selection of canned products' fish varieties (pickled smoked and cured) a lot of selection for a small place

European products, American prices, friendly Russian staff, verified product quality, cosmopolitan clientele. European Island in Hollywood, Florida have 5 stars!

I love this place! They have an amazing deli, lots and lots of cheese, ham, pastrami, salami, etc. And the prices are best part. Also, I recommend the bread and sausage.

Many products from Turkey ,Russia and many more European countries are offered . Prices are okay level , store is extremely small, you can hardly walk . Fresh rye bread is the best thing that you can buy at each visit

This place is called the world market you pull up and there’s a produce market outside with people mingling all over the place I wondered why I want inside I saw a little café with a buffet style food and all types of food from all over the world no wonder why it’s called the world market if you want food from anywhere in the world come here this place has it I didn’t get enough pictures to give this place justice go get a beer and walk through the store

Cozy russian grocery store in Hallandale Bch. A variety of products at affordable price and always fresh. The casiers are always friendly and even make nice jokes. I always find delicious products here that I don’t in other stores

I've always wanted to stop in this market, and finally, my daughter and I had an opportunity yesterday, so we went in. Well, we were pleasantly surprised at their amazingly wide selection of everything. Specialty items you name it and was delighted to hear that all they're off the chain I want to stuff my face with this cake, Cakes are sent to them from New York, well most all of them anyway. Amazing is the only word I can say, but also amazing falls way short of how please I was. I would recommend this stop absolutely to anyone in the Aventura Area North Miami area you name it.... "Come And Get It"

Yes, this store does have a bigger selection of products than the one next door, especially fresh fruit & veggies, smoked meats, cheeses, take-away prepared foods & canned goods! Same prices, always busy, grab a cart, be patient as the Russian can be a bit pushy! My go-to eastern European food market in south florida! Just 2 cashiers, max so checking out could be slow!

For the price point it is the best Russian market in Broward and Dade counties .A very wide variety of products.

Love that everything you need can be found here! And prices are always cheaper comparing to the other Russian stores in florida.

This place is so convenient and close. I walk here with my daughter sometimes. They have very fresh fruits and vegetables. This is a bonus because oftentimes, when we grocery shop and buy veggies, we don’t have enough time to eat them before they go bad—so we are now able to come here and buy as we need things. I did have an experience where a mushroom was molded, which is a very common occurrence everywhere. I took it back the next day and it was an easy exchange, so I appreciate that. I will definitely come here as long as I live nearby. I only hope that I find a fresh market as great as this one when I move.

Pros: New York Style Grocery Store with farmer produce, wide variety of Russian food, eastern European food, kosher food, Georgian food and Central Asian food. Fair prices.

Cons: long lines and only 2 registers, a lot of the things are hard to find (not easily locatable), outdated interior.

Overall 5 stars, because despite the long lines at the register and old interior this place is the cheapest "Big" Russian Food store in South Florida.
