IL Mercato Cafe & Wine Bar

I have seen this restaurant so many times, which is hidden between Petsmart and Publix, and only recently I managed to have dinner here. And this is an insanely delicious meal prepared by a wonderful woman chef. Also, book a table in advance, as it will be difficult to find a table after 5 p.m.

I don't have a photo, because I was enjoying the food and the atmosphere and just forgot to take a picture 🙈

The Brunch on Sundays is really amazing. The best customer service. The food is prepared by the best chef.

Super cute little Italian restaurant. Coming from two people that spent a lot of time in Italy this spring, it is certainly a hidden gem, in our opinions. Great food, wine, and service is impeccable. We sat at the bar, Andre was phenomenal! Love his knowledge of wines and great customer service! We will be back for sure!

Wow, what an incredible dining experience at IL Mercato Cafe & Wine Bar! From the moment I walked in, I was transported to Italy. The ambiance is charming and cozy, and the staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive.

But what truly made our evening special was our fantastic server, Danik. He went above and beyond to make sure we had a memorable meal. Danik was not only knowledgeable about the menu but also offered fantastic recommendations, which enhanced our dining experience.

Now, let's talk about the food – it's nothing short of spectacular. Every dish I tried was bursting with authentic Italian flavors. The pasta was perfectly al dente, the pizzas were heavenly, and the tiramisu was the best I've ever had.

I can't forget to mention the wonderful live music that added to the overall ambiance.

I highly recommend IL Mercato Cafe & Wine Bar to anyone craving delicious Italian cuisine in a warm and inviting atmosphere, and make sure to ask for Danik for a truly exceptional dining experience. I can't wait to return and try more of their delectable dishes. Bravo!"

Owner operated since 2010. Warm and friendly staff deliver quite possibly the BEST meal in Hallandale Beach! Priced sensibly with options for 1/2 plates. ALL ITEMS MADE FRESH DAILY!

Very clean and nicely decorated. You can walk to it from Publix grocery store set in the back a bit. Beer n wine only. It's mainly Italian but they have one german dish and two Asian. All well prepared and big portions for what you pay and tasty. Staff were friendly n responsive. Closed Mondays and Thursdays is "Pasta in Cheese Wheel" night, very tasty n filling. I'll come again.

The pasta was delicious. My little son tried for the first time pasta carbonara and enjoyed it a lot. The ice cream is amazing. We will go back surely. The list of wine is more than satisfactory.

Everything tasted great. Grilled artichokes, Pappardelle mushroom, and Lamb rack. Great service.

This place is a hidden gem. Tucked back inside of a strip mall, it’s worth the stop. The pastas are simple, yet delicious (the mushroom Pappardelle and the arrabiata are great). Wine selection and recommendations were spot on and the homemade Tiramisu and hazelnut gelato were the perfect way to end the meal.

A nice casual place with tasty food and good choice of wine. There is a big free parking lot

So I finally had the chance to have dinner at Mercato last night with my sister, baby niece, brother in-law and friends. First the cook Emily cooks very well, I had the fish of the day that was grilled to perfection, the dish came with roasted potatoes and sauteed spinach, it was delicious. The owner(Emily´s husband) was so kind and friendly. We had a great bottle of rioja wine. I will definitely return(I hope) to try the pastas. This place is a true hidden gem, which usually are the best places to eat

IL Mercato has a friendly and personable staff. The service is impeccable, the restaurant and bathrooms are very clean. This place is a gastronomic experience. It's a wonderful feeling, when you realize, that the kitchen contains a complexity that exceeds the functional fact of feeding. It provides the art of good eating and drinking. The pleasure of taste and the balance between human beings and the products of nature. I will not share all the dishes I've tried. Those are my choices. :) Venture on your own and be delighted
