"I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to work at this hotel. Despite my limitations in the English language, the owner welcomed me, encouraged me, and gave me a chance to learn. His humanistic approach is admirable. Not only did he provide me with affordable accommodation in one of his studios, but he also goes above and beyond to meet the needs of his clients. I appreciate his kindness and the supportive environment he has created here.

I ended up stranded in Fort Lauderdale for a night and had to walk to this location at 10:30p. The gentleman at the front desk was extremely helpful in finding me a room. The room itself was very clean, larger shower/bathroom than expected, and cozy. I was not expecting how nice it was here. If I am staying in Fort Lauderdale again, I would pick here. 24hr CVS down the street and some restaurants I want to try nearby. I don't have a car, but there's a lot of accessible places around here if you do. Very pleased with my experience.

Jason it's your wife, I snuck on here to tell you and anyone reading this how great greatful I am to still be married to my best friend after at the end of the month 26 years! We've been together a total of 30 now! We stayed at Richard's Hotel Last night and you reminded me ( More than Once 😀 ❤ 😍 ) How lucky we are to have each other, I've always had your back and you never fail me, it may not always be a perfect love but it's OURS and NOBODY can or will ever change that! Ours is a love story written in the stars many moons ago and it's my belief that I chose you over and over again threw out our many lifetimes together! Thanks to the Lovely English/ Irish ( I'm sry I'm horrible at accents!) Man who checked us in and made us smile , to the very best mix of people for us to people watch with, and the U.F.O you swore you saw at 4 in the morning!!! I love you so much baby, I can't wait to rewrite this in 30 more years!

Richard’s Hotel was a surprise find. This is not one hotel, but a collection of hotels and motels all within a couple block radius. I approached this like an experience: classic south Florida Motel architecture, several beautiful pools, great hospitality and super clean rooms. I booked it through hotels.com, but they are cash only on property. There is a 50 deposit in cash, which you receive on departure (preferred to waiting a week with a CC.) Check in time takes a little longer, as deposit envelope and ticket, registration form, and registration card are all hand-filled-I found it quaint. Is Richard’s perfect, by no means? But it is a clean, comfortable, and unique Hollywood, Fla experience. Be sure to check out the Boardwalk in Hollywood.

I stayed at the motel in front of the pool with my daughter and her three young children, ages 2, 1, and 2 months, over a week ago. We only booked one night because our destination was Hollywood Beach. We were escorted to our room by staff and our stay was amazing. After our beach vacation, I decided to book the motel by the week, since I was now looking for a house. At check in, the lady with a boss hat proceeded to tell me I couldn't stay there because the children would urinate and defecate on the beds, sofa, floors, etc.not in those words. I told her what room I had previously stayed in by the pool and she told me I was lying because children can't stay by the pool. She said I hid the kids. I left there in tears.More rude conversation went on by her. I need an attorney. All in all, without her this is a fabulous quant place. The entire staff there at the time as friendly a and accommodating.
The room, pool and grounds were well kept. There was even a a food truck walking distance with excellent food.

Small, but clean. We didn’t need much, just a place to crash for a few hours between debarking our cruise ship and our late flight. The owner responded to my questions personally when I placed the booking online, and it was very cost efficient! Not the newest place but it was clean.

Awesome budget hotel! Always clean and welcoming staff will help you with whatever problem you have. Staff and maintenance works swiftly to solve all issues and make your stay as comfortable as possible. I always come here for a little getaway. Plenty of restaurants to go to and a nice pool to take a dip. Definitely recommend!

Richard’s Hotel is an amazing and family oriented environment. Mr Richard and his staff are kind, provide excellent customer service and are professionals. My son and I really enjoyed our stay and we definitely will be back again for our next trip. Thank you very much!!

This hotel got booked very last minute the bed was decently comfortable for a motel and the room was clean. The staff was beyond friendly and helpful. Thank you especially Tyler.

I’m a huge fan of Richards Hotels. Always spotless now with their own food truck, excellent landscaping and the other people staying here are always nice and attracts a good crowd in an otherwise not-so-great neighborhood- don’t leave valuables in the car Area is being cleaned up, new office buildings, condo’s and certainly Richard has done his part in converting the neighborhood. Conveniently located to Gulfstream race park and shops, 10 minute drive to beach or other way back to I-95, 15 minutes to airport. Also appreciate the beautiful landscaping at Richards and whimsical outdoor fixtures. Rooms are quiet and reasonably comfortable bed/pillow, otherwise no frills but great value!

Oh if you book direct on phone do call back to confirm- my only gripe is that twice (out of 10 or so stays) my reservation was lost but both times they accommodated me with a room) but they can improve on that

Wow Kathleen Was so amazing I'm in room 534 and I was a customer and I was not correct correct I misunderstood something and everybody was very nice the rooms were very nice and clean Mary Ann the head cleaner of the hotel was very very courteous and sweet and loving I will be back to see Kathleen a 100% on everyone trips

Farrah was just a doll, she made the best accommodation for me, at the greatest price, and I'll definitely be giving Richard's more of my business... And looking forward to seeing Farrah again.

Nice and friendly staff. Clean rooms in a spacious living environment it's a safe place to stay reasonably price. I would definitely recommend anyone whose in search of a safe haven to try Richard's hotel.

Richards Hotel customer service is amazing,Farrah is a sweet heart. She helped me with any questions I had. Shes quick and sooooo pleasant.

This place really surprised me, It has a kitchen,a beautiful BBQ area, free WiFi and Moses and other staff were really helpful. They walk you to your room so your not left trying to find it. It was the cheapest in Hollywood, this place is beyond worth it.

Best place out of all the rooms on us -1 Richards is the one ....first day I got there Shevonda and​ Lizzie were extremely accommodating I checked in and was asked was the room comfortable and did I need anything which most hotels do not do .....I was given a map if all attractions n things in the surrounding area Cindy was great and had all the answers at night the front desk calls u and leaves u a reminder which is cool the place is very centric and Calming the beds are comfortable and the cable channels and wifi are perfect for relaxing plus they have weekly and monthly special which is great .....if you are in Hollywood this is the place ...😉😉😉

The service, was unbelievable, VERY nice rooms, well kept place, very cozy, we woke up happy and thats the most important thing. thank you so much for thewonderfull hospitality!
