As most women know, finding a special dress for an important event is a difficult task. At Rene Ruiz they make the experience so easy. Dealing with Maria was exceptional. She was calm, supportive, knowledgeable and just really fun to deal with. She knew exactly what styles would look best on my body. Although she took the time to allow me to pick what I thought I’d like, she was always right with her choices. She was not pushy and gave me all the time I needed during the appointment and after to think things through. What I thought was going to be a daunting experience was really enjoyable. This collection should not be missed if you are in the market for a beautiful dress at a very fair price.

Maria at The Rene Ruiz collection in Hallandale, made our experience the best! I sent her a few dresses in advance and a picture of me in couture. First of all, her messages were welcoming and friendly. She made everything so easy. Walking in was such a pleasure. Maria fitted me in my size, and what I loved more was that she was willing to go smaller even though she didn’t know if it would fit. She did not make me feel as though I could not fit into things. She was incredibly gentle with my spirit and I was able to fit a smaller size. Moreover, she took my suggestions and got creative. She had a dress waiting for me that was not one I sent her. That’s the dress I ended up with. ❤❤. I love my dress.

I cannot say enough good things about Maria and her seamstresses at Rene Ruiz in Hallandale. If you are looking for incredible customer service, flattering designs, superior craftsmanship, amazingly responsive alteration times (sometimes in a matter of days, if needed) please come straight here. I searched in every department store and couldn’t find anything. In 1 hour, I have 2 ball gowns and 2 cocktail dresses for upcoming events in the next 10 days. Last year, (when I was 4 sizes bigger), they pulled off a similar miracle. The dresses are elegant, unusual, sophisticated and altered to fit my body and hide perceived imperfections. Maria is personable, helpful and honest in her feedback. I feel confidant and am grateful I found them!

This is the absolute best place to get a gown for a special occasion. Gorgeous dresses and first class service. Great attention to detail. Maria took care of us like we were family. After a terrible experience with Saks Fifth Avenue (they sent me a worn, smelly, stained and torn Rene Ruiz dress), and the inability to find this particular dress anywhere anymore, I called Maria in the Rene Ruiz Hallendale boutique to see if she could find the dress. There were none anywhere. It was the absolute perfect dress for my daughter’s wedding. Hearing the devastation in my voice, Maria called the warehouse to see if they had any material left and they had just enough to make me a brand new dress! She even helped me figure out what size I needed since I could not try one on in advance. Maria saved the day and the dress is gorgeous and so so so well constructed! I can’t wait to walk my daughter down the aisle. Incredible service, superior quality- I’m a Renee Ruiz customer for life!

We just happened upon the store in Hallandale during a stroll in Gulfstream Park and decided to see if there was a dress for me for my daughter’s wedding. I looked at the racks and decided to try on a beautiful dress. It was a dress meant to be. Maria was so helpful and the decision was made. I’ve never had such care and pampering from a salesperson. Having scoured Bergdorf’s and many Madison Avenue boutiques, I found the perfect dress for our son’s Westport, CT wedding at Rene Ruiz in Hallandale. Maria is patient, has a fantastic eye and created the most clever sleeve for the dress and reconstructed another area to make what a 20 something model wore look beautiful on a 70 year old!

Maria was beyond incredible and helpful in helping me chose and alter the dress I wore for my daughter's wedding. Luis did an amazing job in the alterations and design additions we made.
