Aventura Dental Excellence: Gary R. Weider, DMD

Dr. Weider has been my dentist for a number of years. He is an excellent dentist, very knowledgeable, competent, skilled and experienced in his field. Moreover, Dr. Weider is very pleasant and friendly to boot! I feel that I can trust his judgment concerning my teeth without hesitation. His office staff also are very competent. The front desk personnel are conscientious, friendly, concerned, and very pleasant both when you are in the office and talking with them over the phone. Shirley, especially, is very capable and knowledgeable about office procedures and insurance benefits, etc.. Dr. Weider's dental assistants are always conscientious. Rita, the hygienist, is really wonderful. The office is run efficiently; there are never any lengthy wait times or mixups from my experience. I highly recommend Aventura Dental Excellence for anyone needing dental work.

Great office! Very efficient…we started on time, which was a great first impression. The dentist is very knowledgeable with a lot of experience. I really appreciated that he explained everything in detail. He is very patient, and makes sure that you’re comfortable each step of the way. The dental hygienist was great as well. She was able to remove some stains from my teeth with just once simple cleaning (something that a prior dentist office couldn’t). I am very happy and pleased with all the work this office does. Looking forward to more time with them.

I was told by my dentist I needed a crown so I went to Aventura Dental excellence for a second opinion on a friend’s recommendation. They told me no crown was needed and instead filled a cavity and it has been fine for many years. I started going here instead and the level of Professionalism is absolutely top shelf. They are honest and “dental excellence” is a fitting description of who they are. Thank you Aventura Dental Excellence!

This dental office is amazing! The staff were all very friendly and knowledgeable. Upon entrance I was greeted right away and checked in immediately. Literally, little to no wait time! I saw the doctor within minutes of being seated, he sat with me, explaining everything about my treatment for the day. He has a much appreciated sense of humor that helps to ease the tension and anxiety that comes along with having to do dental work. His assistants are very attentive , making sure I was comfortable throughout the entire procedure. Shirley the office manager is stellar, she explained everything in detail that I needed to know regarding my insurance and payment options.
This office functions a way that shows that they take pride in providing great care for their patients.
I proudly recommend this office to anyone looking for a dental home.

I never thought I would be reviewing my high level of satisfaction about a dentist office but this place really is different. The entire staff is always pleasant and very accommodating, the offices are nice and Dr. Weider has a friendly but efficient personality that makes an ordinarily unpleasant experience really quick and easy!

The staff here are extremely helpful and considerate. They addressed all my concerns as well as comforted me through the process since I am a first time patient. My hygienist Trish was very through and personable. Finally doctor Weider was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Would definitely recommend coming here as a new patient or if you are unhappy with your current dentist office.

I always enjoy my dental visits the staff members and Dr. are very professional! The most important for me is the cleanliness of the office. The office has a spectacular appearance from the waiting area, to the examination rooms, and even the restroom. Everything is very clean! Not to mention the technology of state of the art equipment. Very comforting to be able to relax on comfortable chairs watching a movie or listen to music while my dental work is being completed. Very friendly, caring, patient, and professional staff. Dr. Weider is forthcoming when presenting all available options, and my office visits are always pleasant. In 2014 I was at high risk of developing oral complications and possible losing my teeth due to aggressive radiation therapy. Dr. Weider and his staff performed oral examinations among other procedures to prepare me for treatment. As a result of fine dental care I did not I did not lose a single tooth. Thanks to Dr. Weider and his wonderful staff I still have a wonderful smile.

I have been a patient for almost 25 years. I have always received excellent care and service. Dr. Weider is the best! Very caring and has magic hands. Not once I came out of this office with pain. Everyone working there is sweet, always greeting you with smiles. Rare did I have to wait for an appt. I go there knowing that I will get the best services, always!

We just moved to Florida from the Seattle area a few months ago. I was accustomed to really excellent doctors, dentists and medical infrastructure. I was sketched out by the appearance of the many doctor and dental offices I saw everywhere in this area. They looked somewhat dirty, with out of date equipment and inefficient staff many of whom spoke little English. Aventura Dental Excellence is very different. The staff are polite and efficient and fully bilingual. The clinic has modern, state of the art X-ray equipment and pain management supplies. The dental assistants (especially Jeffery) are kind and professional. But most important, obviously, Dr. Weider is a very good dentist! My initial exam was thorough. Dr. Weider was interested in my dental habits, types of food and drink I ate
regularly, medications, etc. I had two cracked teeth worked on for over an hour, and after the anesthesia wore off, I had no residual pain.
I felt I was literally in good hands.
Now I have to find an equally good internal medicine doctor and associated health care system and I’ll be set up in Florida.

I went to see Dr. Weider to work on new implants for me. He was able to pull three bad teeth and start my implants. One tooth required adding bone.

When I arrived my temperature was checked and I was given peroxide to swish to make sure that I and the staff were protected. Everyone wore double masks and I was assured that everything had been cleaned before I sat down. I was taken on time and the staff made sure I was comfortable because I was very nervous about the procedure. My appointment took about 2 1/2 hours, but I was given a break to get up and move around and use the restroom.
I was pleased that Dr. Weider personally called me at home that evening to make sure I was doing OK.
Prescriptions were called in and I was able to pick them up at my pharmacy that afternoon. I was given a follow up appointment for one week later.

Considering what I was expecting everything went well. I would truly recommend Dr. Weider at Aventura Dental Excellence, to anyone looking for a caring professional and experienced dentist.
