Fred Hunter's Hollywood Memorial Gardens North

Hello,
We have friends resting there and sometimes I get requests to photograph a memorial from my living friends. On two occasions I spent a few hours looking for the memorial, finally I gave up and called the office. Roshelle helped me both times to locate the memorial. She did it from her desk , directing me through the property as I gave her names of memorials I passed. Roshelle has the patience of a Saint and is a credit to Fred Hunter's Memorial Gardens. My mom was recently placed in her resting spot here and I couldn’t be more happy with the process and how efficient everything went. The help from the staff members at Fred Hunter’s on Taft were super encouraging to make sure we found the perfect spot for our mama at the Garden of Love. We drove through both cemeteries and walked to the all the vacant spaces! Not only is my mom away from the busy noisy roads, she’s resting at the top center area of her section. It’s so peaceful and perfect and I couldn’t be more happy about it! When it came time for her two-day viewing, the first evening couldn’t have been any smoother than it was! The crowds came in, paid their respects, sat for as long as they needed to and then were directed to the community center for a meal and refreshments. The following morning during her second viewing, there was an unscheduled fire alarm test that was supposed to happen simultaneously while viewings were currently being conducted. (There was another one happening at the other side of the building.) The staff members let me know since I had happened to walk out while the fire department arrived and I went into anxiety mode for the fear of ruining my mom’s viewing with the sounds of fire alarms. Thankfully, they convinced the fire department to hold off on testing until the end of each of their viewings they had going. What a mess that was mitigated by Fred Hunter’s quick thinking staff! During our meeting with designing our mama’s marker…it was patience on top of patience for the staff member assigned to us. (Sometimes I can be indecisive) But he was super understanding and made us all realize we are doing this together and it’s important for it to be meaningful to everyone! I’m excited to see how it turns out and I can’t wait for my mom to get her personalized marker in a few months! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to Zac, Anthony, Cydnia, Debra, and the rest of the crew who helped us with planning and execution! We are so grateful for your assistance with taking great care of our mama! She would’ve loved everything about this. 🤍🩷❤

My family had an overall good experience. Losing a family member is hard enough as it is especially with all the current events, but Redmond came and picked her up from our house and he was very friendly and professional. My family is overall very happy with the service, highly recommended.

One of the best looking cemeteries around. we looked at a few places but the grass was dead and looked like there wasn't anyone taking care of it. Very peaceful here, if there is such a thing. They really take care of the place and the few times I have had to talk with anyone there they were very nice.

I went to Fred Hunter's to make pre-arrangements for a loved one. Eric Swenson assisted me during my visit. Mr. Swenson showed patience, humor and compassion in helping me put together a plan. Knowing what to expect for the future makes me feel more comfortable today.

Lyn made everything simple for me to understand. She did everything by phone and email.

How would I find out if my baby brother who died around 1961 is buried there ? He was only 3 or 4 months old at the time.

They made my experience a good one and are very professional. . Highly recommend
