Passing through town Google German restaurants and found this one because it was near.
It is inside the mall next to the old Sears building it was a bit difficult to find because I don't expect a nice German restaurant to be inside a mall however it was a real treat.
Infects 2 weeks later we were passing that way again and we stopped and ate again.
The beer selection is tremendous the sausage plate is fantastic, and the German chocolate cake is wonderful

Absolutely fell in love with this place. Such a charming, relaxed, comfortable restaurant. The ambiance is exceptional. Cool waitress who made us feel right at home. Draft beers were fantastic and they sell anything you can think of in their deli/shop. The brat was great and the potato pancakes were kind of bland but not bad. Plenty of other things to try on the menu. I can't wait to return.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a wide variety of beers from Florida and other breweries. Great craft selection. Also great selection of foods from other countries. The signs lining the entire wall behind the bar are great to just sit and read. Such a neat little place hidden inside the mall on the end you wouldn’t even know it’s there.

What a gem hidden away in the Volusia Mall. If you have never been here, it’s an absolute must! You walk in and are transported to a German inspired delicatessen and pub. The bar and shelves are lined with every beer imaginable. They have countless options on tap. The deli offers meats, cheeses and sandwiches. The grill has all your favorites including a long list of burgers, brats, kielbasa and sausage. There’s retail items like glasses and steins. They even offer lotto! Come get away and give this place a try

What a great place! We didnt time it right so we didnt have dinner this time but we'll be back for sure. It makes me miss Germany. Bought some stuff from the food market as well.

First time there since new owner. Not much has changed except they replaced the tent at the ceiling, much brighter. Yes, it is bar food, but what little kitchen they have the menu selection is pretty big and food ok. Has been the same for over 40 years. best thing is the people. Darby, Jodie and Dana always treat us great. I'm glad they didn't change. Love it the way it is.

Hot Roast beef sandwiches and mini potato pancakes were delicious. Spit pea soup was very good also. Great atmosphere! Our new favorite place to eat. 🙌🏼.

An amazing hidden gem with spectacular food! Also has a small market for fresh meats and cheese which was unexpected in a mall. The food is quick and the service is very friendly. Be sure to browse their huge beer selection and try some German snacks on the wall. You will not be disappointed!

I will never forget this restaurant. I spent many meals with my best friend there. We always had a great experience there. Awesome food and great atmosphere.

A selection of beer unmatched in the area. Try anything with pastrami or corned beef. OMG.

The very best of all worlds here! Restaurant, pub, and a delicatessen! Fast, friendly service with a great menu and reasonable prices too! My smoked bratwurst with German potato salad and sauer kraut was delicious!👌

One of the greatest German restaurants you'll find in Florida it's a local Hangout it's in the Volusia Mall in Daytona Beach Florida it's by the old Sears store. I guarantee you will love it the people are very friendly the chefs are outstanding they aim to please. Great selection of beer steins funny signs they got a deli they'll Knock Your socks off. German candy and many other things I could write a book about this place I highly recommend it. If you like beer this is the place to be the greatest German beer you'll ever have. I speak from the heart otherwise I would not be wasting my time on this review. If I was rich and you didn't like the food I'd pay your bill. I understand everyone has a taste of Their Own but believe me you can't go wrong at this restaurant it's small but that's great atmosphere you can put together some great gifts there too. If you're in a wheelchair I recommend staying close to where you enter the restaurant because it is tight quarters. What they should do is take over the Sears and Roebucks store. LOL

They have the best rubin sandwich, the staff is friendly and I high recommend trying this restaurant out

We're in town for the Turkey Run and wanted some good cold German beer.

Came across this and was extremely surprised. Such an awesome hole in the wall.

Our waitress was extremely friendly and the owner was down to earth! We will be back before we head home 👍😎

What an experience! The food was fab. The staff was funny! Red cabbage and the potato pancakes were great.
