Andrews Cove Campground

So peaceful.
Back to nature. Beautiful stream, creek . Sounds so relaxing.
It's quiet here this time of year. It has a campground and is very convenient to get to.
I love it here.

Wonderful little campground, tucked away in a corner of GA 75 just north of Helen. Twelve campsites, pit toilets, fresh water, lovely stream runs straight through the middle of the campground. A little road noise from 75, but all in all a delightful place. Better hurry, closing October 30 for the season.

No showers or plumbing, but for $15 a night, it can't be beat! There is a small town called Helen nearby that can provide anything you may need, including phone reception. I found the lack of reception really helped me to truly disconnect and relax.

There is a 2 mile trail that connects the campsite to the Appalachian Trail. If you follow the trail on a cloudy day and go up the AT until you reach the summit, you'll find the most incredible view (definitely don't forget lunch and plenty of water- it's not a casual hike though it's amazing if you're prepared to spend a few hours hiking into what feels like a mystical jungle).

Saw many cool bugs like millipedes and katydids but absolutely no mosquitoes. We stopped using bug spray after a couple days and still didn't get bit by a single one.

If you're an adventurous soul who loves nature, this is it, chief.

Love this place... Perfect for peaceful camping trip... We try to go there at least 8-10 times almost every summer sometimes in the fall also. We have found our little peaceful get away. Been going there for at least past 10yrs or so. Take kids and grandkids. We always have a great time

Been camping here for over 30 so years. Love the river, the idea that you can put a tent right next to it (or there are some that are not), it is close to town in either direction. Quiet, peaceful whether it's for a day to just relax and cookout or if it's to pitch the tent and stay for a few. NO SHOWERS HERE, has like an outhouse to potty.... If you want hookups, sorry not here!! This is roughing it 🏕 camping.....has a hiking trail that leads to falls....

Stayed for a night, very peaceful. there was some trash, but plan to go back and help clean up.

Unfortunately, I drove from Savannah, GA only to find out the campground closed for the winter. However, I have been in the campground before and it is very naturists to be so close to civilization. A must visit for any serious camper. BTW, read the website before visiting. October 31st is when the campground closes for winter!

So so beautiful. A little small so make sure you come early for a campground. Only complaint is how close to the main road it is. But also makes it very convenient for runs to town or if you plan to go explore.

Gem of a spot. Serenity with a babbling creek. Sites are on the creek. 10 in all. Picnic tables and fire pits. Portolet. Water pump. Really clean and peaceful. Loved it here. Would come again. Slept like a baby.

We camp here every chance we get. We Love It & Grandbabies always have a Great time. We have been camping here at least 8-10 times a year for past 10 years or so. Always Find Peace away from all Crazy Chaos in this World. LOVE IT

Car camping at its finest. Right off GA 75. Not the most private of locales but there are enclosed pit toilets, a water pump and a good sized creek running through the center (by good size I mean you hear the water flowing). Lantern poles, tent pads, picnic tables and fire pit grills at each site.

We have camped here many times in the last 25 years! Its so peaceful and secluded! It's our favorite campground, and it holds many wonderful memories ♥

Very clean and pretty . But watch out for the bear's .We seen one and the one attacked my car and broke trim off . it was after a cantaloupe in my trunk my daughter left the window down it had a cub so we left cause had grandbaby with us.

Nice primitive campground with easy access. Small and relaxing. We visited Helen, GA while camping here.

Love it, I've been here only tree times but I can call it my get away place, nice place to enjoy nature at its best
